This is a reproduction of a Northern Pacific postcard circa 1915. Bottom reads: "Two natives of Washington ad bear den and dwelling in a Washington saw log."
I am not sure I would want a bear for my next door neighbor!!!!

LOL. Did you think the bear was going to chew the log? Heck, the bear saws logs for three months of the year!!!
Well, this is the most unique home I've seen!
Fantastic card! Like you I wouldn't want to live next to a bear.
Happy PFF.
Makes me think of the house made inside a redwood tree. I wonder what type of tree it was?

A bear den and dwelling - just what I always wanted! :)
What fun! So unusual. Great linen card and what a house! I'm with you ... wouldn't want the bear (i do like teddy bears) as a next door neighbor. Happy PFF!
I would be living scared everyday knowing that I have a grizzly bear neighbor. I love sending and receiving postcards. Mine is up - My PFF Entry. Thanks for sharing and Happy PFF!
Looks like some of the kitschy houses they made out of redwoods in northern california.
don't know if I care to share with a bear. Shall I ask him for dinner - or will he have me? Very unique postcard!
If I hadn't seen it right here with my own eyes, I would never have believed it. Thanks.
