If you are going in order you of the blogs listed you came from Barbara’s blog.  What do you think so far... AWESOME projects, RIGHT!!!  Now for my project... blank canvas transformed with paper napkins!
Prepare a blank canvas (10 x14) with white gesso and let it dry.  I picked up this unused canvas at a thrift store for @2.50!
Separate the tissue layers of the  napkin.  There are usually three layers of tissue. The first is easy to separate. Getting the second and third apart can be tricky.  Be sure to separate. If left in tack the extra layer of tissue could cause problems when adhering.
Press folds out of the napkins. For the background I used a full size dinner napkin with a  rose pattern.
Paint the canvas with USArt Quest PPA Matte Adhesive. Carefully lay your tissue on the surface.  Once the tissue makes contact with the glue it is in place, trying to move the tissue will rip it. Make nice crisp corners, you may need additional adhesive. Let it set until tacky to touch. Carefully paint PPA Matte over the surface of the tissue add the sheet music. As you add each layer be sure to carefully remove any air pockets that may form under the tissue or paper.
Gently add more  USArt Quest PPA Matte adhesive, add the final napkin (Eiffel Tower), then set aside to dry.
While the adhesive is setting stamp images on tissue paper. I used stamps from Viva Las Vegastamps! the Balloon Airship, Man in Flying Machine and Steampunk Couple. Be sure to stamp on a craft mat as the ink will bleed through the tissue.

Heat emboss with VLVS! Ultra High Gloss Embossing Powder.  Remove the extra tissue around images by carefully ripping away. Color images with COPICs again on your craft mat.  Adhere tissue pieces carefully with USArt Quest PPA Matte adhesive. Add lace to the bottom of the canvas.
Ahead of time prepare Creative Paperclay® pieces.  Using the Articus Frozen Charlotte Art Doll mold make a sheet of Frozen Charlottes. Only one will be used for this project.
Roll Creative Paperclay® and cut varying sizes of heart. Make several birds in a paper casting mold. With Amazing Mold Putty make a mold of an old pocket watch and mold a Creative Paperclay® pocket watch. Be sure to allow plenty of time for all pieces to dry completely.
Prepare the Creative Paperclay® pieces for for painting, use sand paper, emery boards or fine files to smooth the rough edges and then paint.  Coat each piece with Terri Sproul Mixer Citrine Pearl mixed with Sakura Crystal Lacquer to seal.

Now the fun begins.... with the gesso distress the the canvas. Paint around the images. Use bubble wrap to add texture.
Using the Terri Sproul Mixer Citrine Pearl mixed with Sakura Crystal Lacquer paint over the whole canvas, sides and lace. This not only distresses, it seals the canvas.
Then with Terri Sproul Mixer Aquamarine Pearl cover the canvas  to give it a light blue sky hue.
Note... I mix my Crystal  Lacquer and Terri Sproul Mixers in small containers that have air tight lids. I have been able to store it for a few weeks this way. I used this from the jar during the week while creating my project.

Adhere the finished embellishments!
Hearts, birds, pocket watch and Frozen Charlotte
