Vintage Image Craft Easter Container Challenge

Vintage Image Craft has some amazing vintage images that they shared.  For Easter they challenged us to make Easter containers! For this challenge I decided to  incorporate recycling.  Here is a tutorial of my project.
To start print duplicates of several of the images Vintage Image Craft provided.
Using Sakura Crystal Lacquer stiffen some of the pieces that will be layered with foam tape.
Collect several sizes of tin cans... wash them thoroughly, dry! Make sure the rims are safe from any rough edges.  Cover the outside and inside of tin cans with pattern papers using Viva Las Vegastamps! Miracle Tape to adhere... the papers used are old from my stash.
Punch holes (used Crop-a-dile)for handles.  Be sure to punch the holes before adding any embellishments. Glue decorative pearls to the top rim and bottom of the cans, and let dry.
Added wire handles on the the containers.  On each end wrap the wire put up the handle.  Add a piece of wire wrapped around the top of the handle.
Measure around can and cut a piece of Viva Las Vegastamps! Miracle tape that length. On the sticky side pleat the crepe paper streamer. When finished, put a piece of one sided tape on the pleats to keep in place.  Remove the protective strip from the Viva Las Vegastamps! Miracle Tape and adhere to the inside of the can.
Add images to containers with Viva Las Vegastamps! Miracle Tape and foam tape. Ribbons on the handles and greeting tags if the image on the  container doesn't have one!

Add Easter grass and candy, ready for gift giving!!

What fun seeing how you created these! And we admire "recycled" creativity. You are an artisan. Good luck with the VIC Challenge. Scott
