Another Steampunk Card!

Today we share another technique using
MD Hobby and Craft Metal foil technique
and products from AlteredPages.com!

MD Hobby and Craft Metal foil is perfect to stamp on... be sure you are careful when you  work with metal.  The edges of the metal are sharp!

Stamp the image on the MD Hobby and Craft Metal foil with StazOn ink, let it dry.  Trim the edges of the metal foil with Washi Tape.

Using Art Anthology with Punchinella to add a little texture on the card. Adhere metal to black card stock with double stick tape.

Tie ribbon around the black panel before adhering to the brown panel.  Ink chipboard gear with black ink and heat emboss with clear embossing powder.  Adhere to card with Tacky Glue!

Add Dew Drop to the clock with Tacky Glue!

Masculine Steampunk Card

MD Hobby and Craft Metal Sheet Roll is perfect for your Steampunk projects.  I wanted to try putting the metal through my die-cutting machine.  I worked perfectly, once I got the shims correct. The dies cut through the metal sheet just like paper!

Carefully cut pieces of metal from the 12 in x 30 in roll, just large enough for your die.  I was able to cut the metal with a regular pair of scissors.  For the card I die-cut two small gears and one large gear.

Pictured above the dies just before adding the shims and running through the die-cutting machine.

Color the metal foil gears with Gilders Paste and irRESISTible spray, set aside to dry.

Stamp image on pattern paper, layer on black card stock with glue stick. Adhere to brown card base with double stick tape.  Add Steampunk Washi Tape.

Adhere pen nib, dew drop and MD Hobby and Craft Metal gears with Tacky Glue.  It was fun working with HD Hobby and Craft Metal on my Steampunk card!

Treat Picks for any Occasion!

These cute treat picks would make great decorations on cupcakes, a special cake or even in gift baskets.  They could even be used as  embellishments on greeting cards!

Supplies:
KUNZE German Scrap
Crepe Paper
Skewers

Create a crepe paper ruffle using double sided tape, make it about six to seven inches long (depending on the size of the KUNZE German Scrap medallion).

Carefully apply the crepe paper ruffle to the back of the KUNZE German Scrap medallion.  Then tape a skewer in place.

Punch a flower or cut a circle to glue on the back to for a finished look.

This is the  front of the skewer, with the crepe paper ruffle and the KUNZE German Scrap medallion glue with tacky glue.

Fussy cut images then adhere with tacky glue.

Enjoy making your treat picks!!!

Paris ATC's for a Swap!

Here are a few ATC's that I swapped awhile back!!!

I first painted my ATC's and the circles with contrasting paint with a small bottle cap. Then I stamped the Eiffel Tower and Paris with black ink.  The women, from an Altered Pages Collage sheet, were fussy cut and glued to the ATC. A Sharpie pen was used to create a thin black frame around the edge, The final touch was the Dew Drop embellishments!!!!

Each card is different!!!
