The cutest place cards!

I made these awhile back for The Robins Nest when I was on the design team... they are so cute I had to share them again!
I just love the chenille chicks...
I have many fond memories playing with them when I was younger.
Chenille Chicks - Varying sizes
Bottle Caps - Varying sizes
Glue chicks to a Clear Large Dew Drop, this helps to keep them in place when placing them in the birdcage.

Set chicks aside to dry.

For the birdcage bottom use varying sizes of bottle/jar caps.  Any size will do as long as it is a little bigger than your bird.

From the Robin's Nest Spring Stripe Glitter Cardstock cut 12 inch x 1/4 inch strips.  Each birdcage will need 2 strips.  Cut the 12 inch strips in half, now you have 4 strips.  As pictured above stack the 4 strips, gluing them in the center.

While the strips are drying, glue glitter in the bottle caps, then glue the chicks in the center of the cap.  If you like you can a strip of the Robin's Nest Bunny Stripe Cardstock to cover bottle cap.  (See the bunnies above.)

Glue the opposite strips of the birdcage in the bottle cap, see above, continue until you have all the strips glued, let dry.

Cut a 2 inch by 1 inch piece of Robin's Nest Spring Stripe Glitter Cardstock, glue the ends. In the middle cut a slit half way through the cylinder.... look carefully at picture above to see the slit.  Glue to the top of the birdcage.  Print names of your guests on a transparency.
Here are my birdcages in different stages.

To finish the cute birdcage place cards add Butterflies Dew Drops and Robin's Nest Doilies Die Cuts, glue the name holder to the top of the cage, place the names on each birdcage!
