Craft Hoarders Anonymous

Spray IT ! Ink IT! Paint IT! Smear IT! Emboss IT!

I am honored to be among the Guest Designers this month at Craft Hoarders Anonymous...  Thank you Gloria.  I had a lot of fun getting messy creating this project.

THE CHALLENGE:  Show us your inner mixed media diva! Use spray mists, inks, paints, modeling paste, embossing powder, pastels, chalk, and whatever messy media you can find! Let's dig into that hoard, pull out some of that "messy stuff," and use it up! There is a mess-maker hiding in all of you!

I love layering products!

Spray irRESISTible Colored Texture Spray Bronze
Ink VersaFine Onyx Black - Stamp Image
Paint  Black Craft Paint - Base
Smear Memento Luxe Rhubarb Stalk Edges of Base
Emboss Clear Embossing Powder
The background is the  cardboard from the back of a legal tablet painted with black craft paint, leaving unpainted areas.  After the paint dries use Memento Luxe Rhubarb Stalk to cover areas without paint.  Cover with Clear Embossing Powder and apply heat with heat gun. This will give a little texture to the background.

Stamp Steampunk Male Unmounted with VersaFine Onyx Black.  Distress edges with StazOn Midi Spiced Chai and Gothic Purple.
On the Bingo Card stamp Bingo Border with VersaFine Onyx Black heat emboss with Clear Embossing Powder. Distress bingo card with StazOn Midi Spiced Chai.  Adhere the Bingo Card to the background.
Add distressed pattern paper, then the paper with stamped image of Steampunk Male Unmounted. Spritz with irRESISTible Colored Texture Spray Bronze.  Give the board a light coat of IMAGINE Crafts Creative Medium - Vintage.
Gears make the perfect Bingo markers for this collage piece!
Finally add the last bit of embellishment... a pen nib, Dew Drop for a monocle, wooden key and a light bulb.

Oh, but this is totally fabulous! I love all the wonderful bits of metal and glass you added, the distressing and layers are divine. The "monocle" is maybe my favorite bit of whimsy! Thanks for being a guest designer for Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge #10.
