Relatively Thoughtful - Alice In Wonderland

Alice is one of my top favorite collections at Relatively Thoughtful. She is up there with Jane Austen. Two themes I love to craft around. Today I have used the package of Alice’s Tea Party - Fussy Cuts Pack. The package is filled with 26 pieces of die cut images that I am sure you will love as much as I do when creating with the Alice collection. On my card I have used: Alice, Rabbit, The Mad Hatter, the cookies and Tea cup from the package. Have a great time creating in WONDERLAND!

Relatively Thoughtful - Alice in Wonderland - The Small Door

Alice is still strong on my mind. I cannot help but to continue creating cards with the amazing ALICE collection. Today’s card, Alice is locked a room after going down the rabbit hole. She has just eaten a cookie with “EAT ME” on it and is too big to fit through the door. So, she sees the bottle labelled “DRINK ME.” She drinks the contents and shrinks small enough to fit through the door!

Wonderful parameters for Club 52. I was excited to use the Relatively Thoughtful Alice June Release for my card this week. I love how 52 worked on the card.

Master Board with Blank Page Muse Stamps

Today I have created a Master Board with Blank Page Muse. Ready to use as a base for cards or any other project you desire. This particular Master Board has been created to use with my Alice in Wonderland stamps. 

For this project I used:

Alice in Wonderland Characters Set 1 Art Rubber Stamps SC5 Diamond and Heart

Alice in Wonderland Characters Rubber Stamp Sheet Set 2 SC51 (blankpagemuse.com) Spade and Club

Steampunk Watch Face Rubber Stamp 

Vintage Key Hole Back Plate Art Rubber Stamp Sc0076-04

Set of 3 Vintage Style Skeleton Keys Steampunk Art Rubber Stamps SC0076-07

Other Supplies:

• 12 x 12 smooth card stock
• VeraMark
• Clear Embossing Powder
• Dry paint brush
• Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Ink Scorched Timber 
• Blending brush
• Water Spritzer
• Paper Towels

Randomly stamp images with VersaMark, apply clear embossing powder remove excess embossing powder, use a dry paint brush if there are areas with excess that will not shake off. Heat set embossing powder with heat tool.  Carefully stamp one image at a time, add the embossing powder and heat set, then repeat with another stamp.  It is easier to see where you have previously stamped, then go back and fill in areas that may need additional stamping.  It is ok to stamp off the edge of the paper!

With blending tool apply Tim Holtz Distress Oxide ink - Scorched Timber.  

After inking is completed, gently wipe the embossed images with a paper towel, lifting the ink off.

I like using Tim Holtz Distress Oxides as they are water reactive. To give the master board more texture spritz with water and gently dab with a paper towel to lift excess water.

The Master Board is ready to use for cards or whatever project you desire.

 Crafting away with my Blank Page Muse ALICE stamps. Today working with one of my favorite themes:  

ALICE in Wonderland.

Card is triple framed black, pattern paper, black. Alice playing croquet in summer colors, blue sky & green grass. Stretch on the check background!

Finally pulled out my Creative Expressions Wonderland die and Studio Light watercolor pens. Used black Versafine ink and clear embossing powder. The small deck of cards and pattern paper were in my stash! Love when I can use stash!

Craft Roulette Episode #165

 What fun!  Have your ever played Craft Roulette? It is live every Friday on YouTube.  They randomly choose four criteria which need to be included in the completed submission. 

This week's criteria were A children's story, Tiles, Flaps and Winter colors.

Here is my take on the challenge.

The children's story is Alice in Wonderland!

Winter Colors: Dark and Cold

Tiles - there are 3 chipboard tiles, covered in dimensional paste, painted and waxed. One is under the Chesire cat and the other two are under Alice.

Flaps - there are three flaps.  the first flap is inside the card when you open it.  The second it the flap on the teabag holder and the third is on the inside of the front of the card.
