Art Anthology - HAPPY BIRTHDAY TAG

Need something to embellish your gifts all year long, make a few tags to have on hand!

Art Anthology Supplies used: Grunge Paste
Coloration Sprays: Granny Smith, Siesta Key and Pulse
Stencil Diamond Grunge
Green German glass glitter
Wax Paste: Violet and White
Craft Matt and Palette Tool

Other Supplies:
Watercolor paper/tag
Chipboard letters
White paper flowers
White Gesso
Tulle
Glue
Heat tool

On the Craft Mat apply Grunge Paste with Pallet Tool using the Stencil Diamond Grunge on the Watercolor Tag, let dry. To speed drying use a heat gun.

Once the Grunge Paste is dry, spray with Colorations Sprays: Plush, Siesta Key and Granny Smith. Dry between colors using a heat tool. If you do not dry before spraying the next, colors will muddy.

Apply Violet Wax Paste around the edges and White Wax Paste on all of raised dry Grunge Paste.

Spray the bare chipboard letters with Colorations Plush. The chipboard just soaks up the color.

Spritz the paper flowers with water, then spray with the Colorations Pulse. Until the desired color is achieved. remove excess color by applying more water. Dry the letters and flowers!

Glue the letters to the tag. Apply White Wax Paste lightly to the letter.

Cut three 2 inch pieces of the tulle, use a thin piece of tulle to tie in the center of each piece. Using a heat tool slightly burn the edges.

Using glue adhere the tulle and paper flowers to the tag. as pictured. Spatter card with watered down gesso. Adhere spots of bling using glue and the Green German Glass Glitter!

Need something to spruce up a gift… take a plain paper brown bag and make it a gift bag.

I hope this has inspired you to create!

Until next time this is Lyneen signing off.

Art Venture by Gather

During the month of February I participated in an amazing venture lead by Elena Etcheverry.   We had a choice of three, six or twelve classes with some of the most amazing artists.

Alisa Burke
CeCe Hunt
Jaya Raghuvanshi
Frank Garcia
Mark Montano
Chelsea Evans
Anna Dabrowska AKA Finnabair (2 classes)
Danita Art - Idania Salcido
Jen Cushman
Melody Ross
Katja MezzaNotte

We have live online instruction, access to the recorded video forever and most amazing the artists will be doing an encore class!  Yes, if we missed the first time we can watch live during encore.

I opted for the twelve classes, life got in the way of three of them which I will be taking during encore.

The beauty of Art Venture is... anyone can still register for the first time and receive the supplies  to participate during encore.  LEARN MORE HERE AT Gather!

****************************

My first class was Watercolor Florals with Alisa Burke.  I never painted much with watercolors.  I just dabbled here and there!

My first finished Watercolor Florals

Before we started we tested our colors on the paper we were using.

Played with our brushes and paint

Made "blops" that finally became my flowers!
