Mixed Media Monday -Romance!

Mixed Media Monday had a challenge and since romantic may as well be my middle name I couldn't let it get by me!

I have used a sentiment from Rubber Soul, polymer clay heart and vintage image from a postcard!

Be Mine Contest from Fancy Pants!

To enter all you have to do is "Make a Valentine's card using some Fancy Pants products."  Oh, there are a couple of other things, like make post a link, ETC.  You have until the 14th... so get to it!  (I think Mr. Darcy says that to Mr. Bingley in Pride & Prejudice... I watch it way too much!)

THis was a fun card to create... 6x6.  All papers are Fancy Pants, stamp Tim Holtz, Stickles and a little heart I made from polymer clay.

THE ART PARTY!

On an earlier post I mentioned an invitation to an "ART PARTY".  Well today was the party!!! Our hosts Cathy & Jo are the BEST EVER!  We had five wonderful hours of eating, sharing, playing with clay and dessert!  I just love the time Mikki, Linda, Grace, Cathy, Jo and I get to spend together.  Thanks so much ladies for such a special day!!!!

First, we made molds from stamps, buttons, charms or what ever we wanted. Then we made pieces to use later.  I made small tiny hearts and flowers for ATCs and bigger pieces for cards... a couple of large pieces  I hope to use on a collage or two.  

Pictured are crowns, birds, mermaids, dominos, hearts, flowers, faces, tickets and much more.  I have a total of 130 plus pieces.  I am looking forward to using them!  Click on the pictures for a closer look.
