Sharing a vintage postcard from my collection.
Built in 1905, The Cabrillo Ship Hotel in Venice, CA, was one of the “in” places of its time. A “hot spot” to be for many of Hollywoods stars in the 20’s. Attending a New Years Eve party could mean headlines the next day. The hotel had several owners, as many facelifts and name changes during its time. Survived a fire in 1924 and made it through the Depression. In October 1946 it was destroyed.

I love reading what people had to write.
And check out how they addressed them back then!
