Thankful for Those That Served Veterans Day Blog Hop!

I am proud to honor those that have served and those that still serve this great country of ours in Leslierahyes "Thankful for Those That Served Veterans Day Blog Hop!"

Before I created my project I looked up the history of the holiday.  Veterans Day has been celebrated since the end of WWI.  It began as Armistice Day and has evolved over the years to our present day Veterans Day.
Veterans Day is not to be confused with Memorial Day.... Veterans Day pays tribute to all American veterans--living or dead--but especially gives thanks to living veterans who served their country honorably during war or peacetime.
From the History website, to learn more about Veterans Day visit HERE!

This Accordion display is amazing-as always your art is beautiful! I can't believe I have been here within 2 hours of you but it has been so hectic- the whole weekend is a blur! Happy Veterans Day-thanks for the inspiration and love! Hugs-Gia

What a great piece of art to bring out every year for Veterans Day. Absolutely fabulous. It's so important that we teach our children what these holidays mean, as American's and as a military family. Thank you for sharing.
