 A Travel Journal
of the Pacific Northwest
Here is a travel journal that I gave as a gift to an artist friend that was visiting the Pacific Northwest.
Cover: Alpha Tags from Altered Pages Collage Sheet, Leaky Shed Gears and Keyhole
Supplies: A Banner Book, Leaky Shed chipboard, Bazzill papers, card stock, Washi Tape, double sided  tape, Manila Tags, Glassine Envelope  postcards.
Paint Leaky Shed chipboard pieces with gold craft paint.
Inside cover: Chipboard Clock is Leaky Shed. "Washington" fussy cut from vintage postcard on vintage Bazzill papers. Glassine Envelope Altered pages! The Glassine Envelope is reinforced with Washi Tape and placed between to pages.
The Glassine Envelope holds several postcards of the area for the traveler to use while traveling or to keep and cherish!

Here is a page with a pocket holding Manila Tags that can be used to write memories of travels! Page pocket created with double sided  tape and cardstock!
The opposite page has a copy of a vintage postcard (1960's) from the Pacific Northwest! Add a couple of Leaky Shed chipboard gears.
Local maps and vintage postcards are great embellishments for a travel journal.
Use  8 1/2 x 11 cardstock score at 6 inches, fold and staple at the bottom to create a pocket.  Cover staples with washi tape.  Vintage and new pictures of Mt. St. Helens.

Another pocket, more washi tape and Leaky Shed chipboard gears. Vintage and new pictures of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge!

Add more postcards, leaving room for journaling.

Use  8 1/2 x 11 cardstock score at 6 inches, fold to create a page that folds out.

Add an envelope in the back of the journal to store miscellaneous items.
