Playing Card Challenge - Week 7 of 26

Scroll down for day 19 - 31 days of Halloween!

PLAYING CARD CHALLENGE
 Week 7 of 26

Nautical Theme

I am participating in 52 Card Challenge with Claudine of Claudine's Art Corner. Every Monday she posts the next weeks inspirations. Try as I might... I am not a good follower. I may start out on the same path, but somehow I veer to the right or left! This has been fun so far! Hope you enjoy!

Visit Claudine's blog HERE to see the inspiration cards!!!

For display purposes I am trying to keep all of my cards portrait. Not sure how I will display in the end, I think I would like all to them to be in one direction! I have been good about sticking to making all my cards from my stash!
CARD # 12

WHAT I USED:
Art Anthology Dimensional Paint Baby Blue Eyes
Tall Ship - Rubber Stamp of America

CARD # 13
Seahorses

Seahorse a mates for life...
to learn more about seahorses visit The SEAHORSE TRUST.

Since they mate for life...
I couldn't have just one seahores on my card.

The seahorse stamp has been hiding for years in the back of the drawer of sea images.  It was able to make an appearance for this card!

The Makin's Shells were made with Creative PaperClay® and painted with several colors of SMOOCH!

The bubbles were made by inking the end of a cork and stamping directly on the card...

WHAT I USED:
Creative PaperClay®
Makin's Sea Shell Mold
Wine Cork for stamping bubbles
Seahorse Stamp - unknown
Stamp Find Peace Within - PSX
Netting from the Mermaid MailBox Muse Kit
Radiant Neon - Electric Blue & Electric Green Inks
Memento Luxe Nautical Blue (bubbles)
SMOOCH
Sharpie
Clear Embossing Powder

To make my shells I used Creative PaperClay® and Makin's Sea Shell Mold!

Be sure to check back for Week 8!

Very creative cards! I liked the cork/bubble idea--so much neater than what I came up with, and the clay embellishments are perfect!
