Fourth in my series of Blank Pag Muse Jane Inspired Projects!

Today’s tag is inspired by a quote from Jane Austen’s Mansfield Park.  “I was quiet, but I was not blind.” Fanny says this during a difficult conversation with Mary Crawford, the night before Mary & Henry Crawford are to leave for London.

To create the tag, I used the following stamps and stencil from Blank Page Muse:

Butterflies and Flowers Layering Mixed Media Stencil BPMSTbflower

Words by Jane Sentiments & Silhouette Images Rubber Art Stamp Sheet SC202

Other supplies
Distress Inks Dried Marigold, Ripe Persimmon and Squeezed Lemonade
VersaFine Black Onyx ink
Flower & Half Pearls Fibers

First, with a blending brush lightly apply Dried Marigold Distress Oxide to the base tag. Then using the Butterflies and Flowers Layering Mixed Media Stencil BPMSTbflower and small blending brushes, apply Ripe Persimmon Distress Oxide ink to the edges of the flowers then and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide ink to the center.

On ivory cardstock stamp the Blank Page Muse image and sentiment.  Did you notice Jane's face in the silhouette? Sort of spooky.

Layer the ivory paper with the stamped images on a coordinating cardstock.

Add flowers, half pearls and fibers to finish the tag.
