Episode #195 Dec 29^th 31 Consecutive Cards

Project Encouragement Card – Sentiment “You Are So Special”, card 5 ¾ square

Color Calm – Pale pinks and greens with dark accents

Element Stuffed – envelope stuffed with tickets

Random Ticket – 10 tickets, printed and blank 

The envelope is so stuffed you can barely see it.

Simple Stories-Simple Vintage Love Story paper & ephemera. StudioLight ticket die. Prima seals mould with hot glue. Sentiment die Creative Expressions.

It's Your Party! - Blank Page Muse Digital Paper

I love the colors of the Digital Download "It's Your PartyBirthday" Printable Papers by Pam Bray.  The papers are perfect for birthday or any occasion cards. 

Today I have a “HELLO” card for any occasion.

What you need:

• Blank Page Muse - Digital Download "It's Your Party Birthday" Printable Papers by Pam Bray
• Half pearls
• Dimensional foam
• Adhesive

Choose and print the papers from the collection that you would like to work with.

Fussy cut images that will be used on the card!  Dic cut sentiment from green.  Cut an additional 3 white of the same sentiment to layer. 

The measurements for the card are: 

Card base -5 3/4 x 5 3/4 inches 

Green mat - 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches

Orange burst is 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 inches
Green band is 5 1/4 x 1 inch

Adhere the mats and band to the card base as pictured here.

Cut along the "V" of the envelope to tuck the fussy cut heart and flower, adhere to elements together. 

With dimensional foam adhere the envelope to the card as pictured.  Glue the die cut sentiments to together to create dimension. adhere to the card.  Finally, add a few half pearls.

Episode # 194 – Dec 22^nd 30 Consecutive Cards

Project Square – card is 5 ¾ square, one of the postage stamps is a square

Color Nest – Browns for twigs and blues for eggs

Element Ladder-die cut train tracks substitute for ladders

Random Add a Cat, my cat is climbing one of the many ladders.

The cat must climb ladders to get to some of his favorite things. FUNN card.

The ladders are a train track die from Marianne! The postage die is from Eileen Hull. Papers are Simple Stories.

Christmas Card Caddy

In the past every year after opening, I would put the Christmas cards received in a decorative gift bag and set them aside.  This year I decided I would like to enjoy them!  So, I made this cute caddy for them.  I used the Eileen Hull Card Caddy Die!  I made two sections and attached them to make it large enough to hold all the cards we receive. 

Now they are part of my Christmas decorations!  When I add cards each time the mail comes, I take a look at those already in the caddy.  I as truly enjoying the cards and letters this year.

Project Postcard – embossed postcard base on card front
Color Florist Shoppe – Fall florals & ferns
Element Globe – spherical die cut & sentiment “WORLD”
Random Abstract Blobs on the base mat – Distress Oxide Spray Expresso


Embossed postcard with wax highlights. Definition of globe is a spherical or rounded object. Two mice in a round die cut. Blobs splattered.  

I Brake for Stamps Poinsettia Trio

 An easy but elegant looking Christmas card.  Using this beautiful Poinsettia stamp. The flowers are gorgeous. 

To make this card I used the Poinsettia Trio stamp from I Brake for Stamps!

Other supplies to create this card:
VersaFine Black ink
Clear embossing powder

StudioLight Watercolor pens

Dotted Swiss red cardstock

Gold Sharpie pen

Stamperia Contour White

Stamperia Contour Gold

• Stamp the images on white cardstock, heat emboss with clear embossing powder.
• Color poinsettia and leaves with markers, I used StudioLight Watercolor pens.
• With wide tip gold pen edge the white cardstock..
• Adhere white cardstock to the red mat.
• Adhere red mat to the card base
• Randomly add Stamperia Contour White dots to the berry branches. 
• Add Stamperia Contour Gold dots to the center of the flowers.

December Poinsettia

"Poinsettias are my favorite flower this time of year even though I cannot keep them alive more than a month. The piece of paper with the sheet music was a perfect background for my three flowers. I am not sure if you can see it in the photo, but the poinsettias have a little shimmer."

Color Roadside Market = Colors of a Fall roadside pumpkin stand
Yard of fiber wrapped around the band on the card
Random Confetti=clusters of gems around the card and background paper confetti

All elements on the card were leftovers from previous card making except for the base mat. The leaves and band are gel plate printed. Die cuts were extras from Fall card making.

OH DEER CHRISTMAS!

"One of my favorite Christmas collections is Reindeer Christmas. What is a reindeer collection without another reindeer. I love layers of paper and this collection has colors that layer well together. Hope you like this fun card as much as I do."
