Surprise We Have New Neighbors!

Today we noticed a nest on the front porch... at first we thought it may be a wasp nest as we have had a few lately... a closer look tells another story.  Looks like a family has moved in.   Today we put up a new suet for the momma bird to eat from!

Steampunk ATC for SWAP

I am participating in a Steampunk SWAP over at Rubber Stamp Chat.  They have a ton of swaps going on all the time.  If you have been looking for a place for stampers this it is a great place to have some stamping fun!!!

On my ATC I used Viva Las VegaStamps exclusively.
Stamped balloon images with Memento, Rich Cocoa.  The lady and sentiment were stamped  with Crimson Red, VersaFine, as were the edges of the card.  Used Copics for coloring.  Lady was embellished with Stickles.  Added washes.

Artists Gather to Create Gift for Friend!

Two weeks ago we heard our friend had to have surgery.  I was leaving on vacation shortly after I got the news.  I emailed our small group of artists and asked each one if they would like to participate in creating a fat book for her.  The response was was awesome.  Everyone wanted to create a page, they would either mail or deliver them when I returned from vacation.  Then I could get them bound and on her doorstep as quickly as possible.   Here is the book I delivered today.
