9/11 Memorial Groundbreaking

We will never forget!

From the Kitsap Sun: "The ceremonial groundbreaking for the city's planned 9/11 Memorial will be part of a full day of activities at Evergreen-Rotary Park in Bremerton.  The groundbreaking itself will start at noon, and the beams will be on display at the southeast corner of the park."  READ MORE HERE

Bremerton Farmers Market on Thursdays

The weather was perfect for the Farmers Market in Evergreen Park.  There was wonderful... music, produce, wares, breads, pastries, ice cream, jewelry, hamburgers, hot dogs, salmon patties... there was so much I can't list it all.

Kristin Day has the very best CRUMPETS, stop and try one of her samples.  In addition  to Crumpets she sells other breads.  We have had her crumpets and apple butter... they are to die for!!!  

A GLASS ACT

Recycled Glass... be sure to stop by... Jacky davis has taken unwanted dishes, teacups, bowls and glassware and created one of a kind serving dishes and more. 

MADE IN MANETTE

Carolee Valentine has created aprons from vintage style fabrics, knitted hats, made bags from recycled materials, pillows and more.  Here is a sample of her creations.

Susan Moorhead has so many wonderful colors in her tie dyed art

Visit the Bremerton Farmers Market and have dinner at CJ's booth!!!  They grill great hamburgers, salmon patties or veggie burgers... THE CORN ON THE COB IS WONDERFUL!!!!

Simply Renewed had three guest artists for ART WALK on 7/1.  One was  Beth Dayton an amazing artist creating the most fabulous assemblages and collages.   Her display was breathtaking Friday night.  Here is a glimpse at her work.

Bremerton has long had the distinction of coordinating the nation's largest and longest-running Armed Forces Day Parade. The parade began in 1948 - two years before Armed Forces Day became a federally recognized holiday.
