Sunday Postcard Art is hosted by my online friend Kris... I choose to use images from a print I had rolled up in the closet for a couple of years.  I cut each individual out and repositioned the images from the original... I apologize to the artist... My snow arch for the challenge at Gothic Arches.  The image is from a print that I had rolled up in the closet I had received as a freebie several years ago and didn't have a place to hang.  I have used several of the images from the print for challenges this week... I apologize to the artist... I love these children!

I used an old postcard for the challenge thi week at Theme Thursday. Emblished with stickles, ribbon and a holly ornament button! 

Wednesday Stamper - Exotic Places

Wednesday Stamper gave me a chance to get out some old fabric. The fabric is cut with pinking shears and adhered to the black card stock. I stamped the mask on paper, embossed with silver then adhered it to a piece of  wood from a place mat (from my friend Linda). Fibers add the finishing touch.

Sunday Postcard Art - Joker

THIS was a lot of FUN!!!  for Postcard ART

I loved using this BIG stamp from Stampland... I have had it forever! Other stamps are the Eifel Tower is Inadinkadoo and Paris is Eclectic. The mask is an old sticker I had and pink stickles on the heart. Pattern paper is from Rubber Soul.

A little late... but I had this picture and I wanted to use it.... Happy Birthday!  Gothic Arches has wonderful challenges each week.  

Snowman ATC's for a SWAP

On pattern paper I stamped the Wordsworth from the Classic Christmas collection image of pine and ornaments and colored them with pen & pencil.  Then stamped the Rubber Soul - Snowman on white paper and directly on the pattern paper.  I cut the circle of the snowman from the white paper and lined the image with the stick arms on the pattern paper.  Once the base ATC was completed I stapled one corner of a snow spotted vellum over the ATC and attached a button in the other corner with a glue dot.

First Black Friday Challenge at Vintage Veranda was.  Create and "Inchie" then an "ATC" usimng the "Inchie" then a card using the ATC!  Here is my card for the challenge! The image is from Crafty Secrets.

Rusty Pickle had a challenge using a sketch and their products... Well this is my take on the sketch.  Click on the picture to get a better look.  I have used the Pirate & Mayflower papers and alphas and few pieces or Rusty Pickle Chipboard.  I am going to miss these papers, I am almost out of them... means I will have to start using some of my other Rusty Pickle papers... have you seen the Christmas paper they have out this year????  Better check them out!!! 

CutCardStock.com Glimmer & Shimmer Contest

Here is my entry for their Glitter and Shimmer Contest.  I used CutCardStock.com Stardream Metallic "Crystal" Gatefold card.  Punched snowflakes from the same cardstock.  Glitter is Scintillement Brillo "big flakes" of glitter on the punched flakes.  Stamped and heat embossed siliver snowman and sentiment.  Silver ribbon... BUSY making Cards!!!

I may not be here as much for the next few weeks... I will be making cards for my sisters design business... About 200 of them.  We are still in the process of deciding what the final design will be.  I ordered all the cardstock this evening from cardstock.com.  The card above is one I made 2 years ago.  the image is a stamp I designed for her cards.  This year I designed a scale with holly.

Theme Thursday - Birds

I love this Graphics 45 paper.  The large bird is part of the background paper, the smaller bird image is from a sheet of tags and the butterfly is cut out of another piece of Graphics 45 pattern paper.  Stickles was perfect for the birds.  See others here at Theme Thursday!  See the rest of my blog here view blog.

DO YOU EVER??????

Do you ever sort of read directions and make or do whatever it is... then when you are finished realize that is not what you were supposed to do?  Well that is what I did for TGIF!!!  This was my original piece I created... guess what.  I was should have done winter head gear... NOT SUMMER!!!!  I think this was pretty cute and had to share! Go to TGIF and see other head gear.

Here is my entry for the the Gothic Arches Yuletide Christmas, on this I used paper that I received in a RAK from Kris last year... It was a perfect collage of Santas for this arch!

I have wanted to use this stamp Spirit Doll from Limited Edition.  this is my card for the challenge at http://mixedmediamonday.wordpress.com/ The card has been created with scrap papers, 7Gypsies rub-ons and "Dream" rub-on is Scenic Route.  Butterfly stamp Memory Box, face is Stampa Rose.   The legs & arms move.

TMTA -Purple

This is for a challenge on TMTA this week... yes a couple of days late.  I didn't have any purple paper so I stamped a background.  The crown is cut from a sheet of Crafty Secrets pattern paper. Stamp is Catslife Press.  Check out other  ATCs at TMTA!

Sunday Postcard Art ~ Paris

This stamp is "Rome Diva" form Hampton Arts.  I first stamped the full image then stamped the Diva on a page from an old book and cut her out then stamped the car on another piece of paper and cut it out.  The bling is from Prima. TGIF... Doors Well I didn't get this finsished Friday!!!

The challenge was doors at http://thankgoditsfriday.wordpress.com/ for this one I altered an vintage Bingo Card.  The door an saying are from Etcetera everything else is from my stash of goodies.  Oh the wire hanger is the spiral out of an old spiral notebook!!!! The photo is a copy of one of my cabinet cards, the clock face I picked up at a garage sale for pennies!  

I showed this to my husband and he grabed it for himself to use as a bookmark!
