I didn’t want to buy paper to do a baseball theme card, I stretched my brain around the colors! I researched uniform colors. Paris is a favorite theme of mine.

The Roaring Twenties was a time of change for women. The most familiar image of the times is the “flapper”. The era was filled with glitz, glamour, jewel tones, and geometric shapes. A very bright tropical colorful card. If I were on the show and had to come up with a fast card, I would have gone with a scoop of ice cream. I was sure there had to be more to scoop, and I found it.  I did my research on scoop!  Beekeepers test their hives for disease, and they have ways to scoop the bees.  Bees are also scooped to move them from one hive to another.

Blank Page Muse Wonderland

I love my Alice stamps from Blank Page Muse! Today I am sharing a card that will be a part of my Alice journal. The painting of the roses takes place in The Queen’s Garden of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Alice encounters the Gardners painting the white roses red. They accidently planted white roses instead of red. If the Queen of Hearts discovers this error, their heads could be at risk!

Cut pattern paper mat to fit card. Add text from book.  The text used is from and old copy of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland where the gardeners are painting the roses! Randomly use Bedazzed Diamond Stencil with the Red Tulip VersaFind Clair Ink.

Stamp the Pennant Banner on color paper, fussy cut. then adhere to the top of the card as pictured.

Stamp the two Gardeners Painting the rose bushes. Fussy cut and color.  Make sure the paint is red!

Die cut funky trees and leaves. 

Adhere the Gardeners and trees to the card. Add leaves and gems to the trees!

Blank Page Muse Journal with Vibrant Spring Digital Papers

I love making journals and cards.  When I saw the new Vibrant Spring Digital Papers Bundle - Instant Download I knew I had to make a journal.  It was created for Junk Journal & Handmade Card Crafters in mind!

To create the journal, download:

The papers are digital, some were printed on both sides. The journal is 20 pages with a few, white, pink, teal and yellow pages added. It would be a fun journal to add daily notes, make into a junk journal or smash book.

Some pages were oversized and folded in to create pockets and flaps. Once all the pages were in place, I used the Thermal Cinch to bind the journal. 

Add in die cut pockets. 

Embellish with tabs and ribbons tied to paperclips!

Create bellybands to hold file folders and other items.
