• READ THIS Keep in mind when making this card it fits an A2 envelope ONLY if the card is not higher than the tallest turrets and not wider than the castle sides. Lesson learned: the lower bat on my card sticks out too far on the right to fit an envelope.• Glue the half castle card to the inside back of the front. Before gluing and attaching be sure the turrets of the castle line up on both pieces.• You have more windows than you will need, you can decide which ones you want yellow or gray. NOTE: There are two sizes of windows.• OPTIONAL: Ink the roof pieces, windows, door, hinges, and keyhole with Distress Oxide Ink – Hickory Smoke• Before gluing layout your pieces. Lay things out and plan what will go where.• Glue two orange flags to the back of purple flags and the third purple to the back of the third orange.• Glue the flags to the turrets as pictured, then glue the roof of the turrets. Sandwich the flag between the castle and the turret. (If you glue the flags to the highest turrets you will need a bigger envelope.)• Glue the windows in place• Add the door, hinges, and keyhole• Attach the spider web and spider• Add the bats• With dimensional foam attach “CREEP IT REAL”
• From the paper pad: “Happy Halloween” castle• A2 Card• Pattern Paper front panel 5 ¼ x 4 ¼ inches• Pattern Paper band 1 x 4 ¼ inches• Green paper to mat Ephemera Pack: “Happy Halloween” castle• Elizabeth Craft Designs Die – Knight Armor• Cardstock: Purple, gray, dark gray, green and bright green• Dimensional Foam• Glue – a quick dry glue is best when assembling the knight
• OPTIONAL: Ink the All gray, dark gray and purple pieces (except the feathers)• Assemble the Knight- as you assemble the knight let it set a couple of seconds between gluing’so Glue the dark gray face shield to the back of the light gray face shieldo Attach the face shield to the helmet.o Add the two gray shoulder pieces to the body, attach arms and handso Add the dark gray waist band “upside down T” to the armoro Glue the purple skirt to the body armor, then attach the legs and feet.o Glue the neck to the body and then the heado Add the purple collar and the capeo Assemble the spear and the sword. (Set aside to attach to the knight later.)• Adhere background panel to the card• Adhere the green banner about ¼ inch from the bottom of the card.• From the paper pad “Happy Halloween” castle. Attach to the green mat, cut to size- WAIT to adhere to card• Adhere the three feathers to the top of the knight. Check to see if he is too tall, they may need to go to one side.• Compare the placement of the knight and the Happy Halloween Castle, making sure you can read “Happy Halloween:” Attach the matted “Happy Halloween” castle with double sided tape• Attach the knight with dimensional foam. Attach the sword and spear, the spear will need to be trimmed.
• Ephemera Pack: “It’s All About the Candy”• A2 Card• Pattern Paper front panel 5 ¼ x 4 inches• Elizabeth Craft Designs Frog• Elizabeth Craft Designs Halloween Accessories (Pirate Hat and Bats)• Patten paper banner• Google eyes• Cardstock: Black, purple, green, bright green, red, yellow, and white• Dimensional Foam, Glue and Double-sided tape• White Pen
• Adhere background panel to the card, then adhere purple die cut background die to the card• Pull “It’s All About the Candy” from the ephemera pack and mat it on the green paper, trim to size. Set aside!• Assemble the Frog- as you assemble the frog let it set a couple of seconds between gluing’so Starting with the body glue the round green circle onto lower edge of the green oval.o Attach the hind legs and then the front legs to the body.o Now for the head: glue the piece that resembles an “8” to the head, his bulging eyeso Attach the whites of the eyes and then google eyeso Add the mouth and tongueo Attach to the head to the bodyo Glue the skull and crossbones to the pirate hat.o Attach the hat to the frog’s head• Attach the lily pad to the card with double sided adhesive• With dimensional foam attach the frog to the card• Attach the matted “It’s All About the Candy” to the card with dimensional foam• Add the bats and crown• Finally, with a white pen, add eyes peering from the dark behind the frog!

• Adhere background panel to the card• From the ephemera pack pull “Trick or Treat”. With double sided tape, attach it to the upper right corner of the card• Attach plaid banner 1 x 4 of an inch, about ¼ inch from the bottom of the card.• Assemble the Witch- as you assemble the witch let it set a couple of seconds between gluing’so Starting with the head glue the green face to the solid black circle hair shape.o Glue the banges to the green face, and the black pigtails to the head.o Add google eyes and a smile with a Black Jelly Roll Glaze Peno Attach the pattern under skirt to the back of the black dress, be sure the pattern stars are showingo Attach arms, then add legs and shoeso Glue body to the dress, lining up the shoulderso Add the orange “V” shape to the dress top.o Glue head to the body.o Add the orange band and buckle to the witch’s hat, attach to the head with dimensional foam.o Glue the orange band to the broom bristles and attach to the handle• Attach the witch to the card with dimensional foam, using double pieces under the hat.• Attach the Prima Art Pebbles directly over spiders to make them look larger than they are!

Attach the matted “Hip Hip Hooray its Candy Day” and Witch with dimensional foam• Add the spooky tulle bow to the card as pictured, below the shaker

• Edge background with gold pen• Cut a small slit at the edge of the Fairies Wing, just big enough for the Oval flourish to fit through• Tuck the cut end of the Oval Flourish closest to the loops in the slit. Get it in place and tape on the back to hold it there.• On the front of the card trim the Oval Flourish so that it will end behind the flower on the front of the card. CARD #1 – RACCOON
What you need:
· Ephemera: “Enjoy the Simple Life” and Mushrooms with Ferns
· A2 Card
· Pattern Paper front panel 5 1/4 x 4 inches
· Elizabeth Craft Designs - Raccoon #1683
· Cardstock black, gray and white
· Oxide Ink - Hickory Smoke (or comparable colors)
· Mouse
· Elizabeth Craft Designs Stencil-Make Your Mark S031
· Glue and Double-sided tape
· Gold pen
· Black Jelly Roll Glaze Pen Animal Faces
What to do:
· Mouse background (completed in kit)
· Edge background with gold pen
· Adhere background panel to the card
· Assemble raccoon:
· Ink all grey pieces with Oxide Ink - Hickory Smoke (or comparable colors)
Assemble Raccoon:
o Start with head: attach the muzzle to the head, add nose, and then ink the mouth with Jelly Roll pen
o Attach the eye bands, ant then add the whites of the eyes with a Jelly Roll pen
o Attach inside of the ear (gray) to the outside ear black
o Attach ears to the head
o On the body, attach the breast, then the two legs to the sides
o Then add the feet as pictured
o Attach the head to the body
o On the tail ass the gray stripes to the black die cut tail and then attach it to the body
· With dimensional foam attach Ephemera: “Mushrooms and Ferns” as pictured

wings to the bodies – see how the point of the wings are attached just at the
base of the head

the red heart to the bee with stripes

What to do:
·
Assemble shaker first using the dome provided
o Place
the dome on the table like a bowl
o Fill
the bowl as desired with sequins and beads
o Carefully
remove the white ring to expose the adhesive
o Place
the solid yellow circle of the die cut over the adhesive sealing the sequins
and beads in the dome
o Turn
the dome over
·
Adhere dome to the hole in the background
panel, carefully place glue around the lip on the dome
·
Place the background panel over the dome, let
it set for a couple of minutes.
·
Adhere
background panel to the card
·
Attach
“Summertime” (from the ephemera pack) with
dimensional foam

Ivory Band: 10 ½ x 2 (scored at 2 inches and
4 inches)

What to do ;
· Adhere background pieces to the card, matching the sizes to the panels
·
Add Washi tape to the largest panel 5 ¼ x
1-7/8 of the ivory band, wrapping around the edges
·
Adhere background pieces to the ivory band,
matching the sizes to the panels
·
Attach the ivory band to the card base as
pictured, NOTE: on the left side of
the panel attach far left edge ONLY, you will be able to tuck the Koala in and
later secure the reminder of the section.
·
Assemble Koalas - there are two packages of
pieces
o
Ink
edges of gray pieces with Oxide ink
o
Ink
edges of pink with Oxide ink – Worn Lipstick
o
With
Black Jelly Roll Glaze Pen, on the face-draw the mouth, follow the score lines
o
Attach
head to the body
o
Attach
tail to the body
o Attach arm to the body of one
koala (save the other arm for later)

pink to the ears, then attach to the head

Attach
the koala with the arm attached to the tree
o
Add
leaves to the tree

What to do:
Adhere pattern background panel to red cardstock panel
Attach to the card
Adhere background panel to the card
Attach blue cardstock panel to the card ¼ of an inch from the bottom
Cut 3 animal cards from block of cards
Edge with cards with silver pen
Attach the three cards to the blue panel on the card with dimensional foam
Attach Celebration banner to the card
Optional add sequins.

Adhere shells with dimensional foam, a little above the bottom of the card… (use waves to measure where to place.)
