Card #1 – Today was Magical

 What you need: “Today was Magical” from the Ephemera Pack

• A2 Card and envelope

• Pattern Paper front panel 5 ¼ x 4 ¼ inches 

• Pattern Band – 4 x 1 inches (you may  have to look for the band in the scraps) 

• Tim Holtz Sizzix – Darling Deer #664968 (2 die cut deer)

• Cardstock: brown

• Buttons Galore Sprinkletz Wintery Mix - 3 mini white snowflakes (in bag)

• Twine

• Glue, Dimensional foam, and Double-sided tape 

What to do:

• Pull “Today was Magical” from the Ephemera Pack

• Adhere pattern background panel to the card

• Pattern Band – 4 x 1 inches... Look for the band in the scraps - You may have to cut the pattern band,  then Attach pattern paper band Vertically to the left side of card about 1/2 inch from side 

• With dimensional foam attach “Today was Magical” from the Ephemera Pack

• Glue deer to the card

• Tie a knot in the twine and glue to the card

• Randomly glue Buttons Galore Sprinkletz Wintery Mix - 3 mini white snowflakes (in bag) on the “Today was Magical” sentiment

          

Card #2 – Snow Cute

What you need:  

• “SNOW CUTE” from the Ephemera Pack

• A2 Card and envelope

• Pattern Paper front panel 5 ¼ x 4 inches 

• Elizabeth Craft Ultra Fine Glitter- Warm Diamond

• Elizabeth Craft Double sided Tape 1/2” 

• Elizabeth Craft Designs Die – Berry Branch #1778

• String

• Cardstock: Brown & white

• Dimensional Foam and glue

What to do:

Prepared for you: Front panel with ½ double sided tape covered with Elizabeth Craft Ultra Fine Glitter and 2 berry branch berries glittered

• Pull “SNOW CUTE” from the Ephemera Pack

• Adhere background panel to the card 

• Wrap sting around your fingers then tape to the card - this will be behind the ’SNOW CUTE”

• Adhere glittered berry branch to the card

• With dimensional foam attach the “SNOW CUTE” from the Ephemera Pack

   

Card #3 – Snowflakes & Friends

What you need: 

• “Snowflakes & Friends” and circular snowflake (pictured above) from the Ephemera Pack

• A2 Card and envelope

• Pattern Paper front panel 5 ¼ x 4 inches 

• Tim Holtz Sizzix Die – Stunning Snowflake #664749 – one large snowflake

• Cardstock: white

• Wink of Stella

• Silver Pen

• Buttons Galore Sprinkletz Wintery Mix – Small white snowflakes (in bag)

• Dimensional Foam, Glue and Double-sided tape

What to do: 

• Pull “Snowflakes & Friends” and circular snowflake from the Ephemera Pack

• Edge Pattern Paper front panel with Silver pen

• Adhere background panel to the card 

• With dimensional foam attach “Snowflakes & Friends” from the ephemera pack to the top of the card

• Optional – apply Wink of Stella to the snowflake let it dry

• Gently glue and adhere snowflake to the card

• With dimensional foam attach circular snowflake from the Ephemera Pack to the center of the snowflake

• Glue Buttons Galore Sprinkletz Wintery Mix – small snowflakes randomly to the card

Card #4 – SNOW

What you need: 

• Image with Trees, Dotted Frame, and “Snow” from the Ephemera Pack

• A2 card and envelope

• Pattern Paper front panel 5 ¼ x 4 inches 

• Two blue bands 4 x ½ inch 

• Tim Holtz Sizzix – Darling Deer #664968 (2 die cut deer)

• Cardstock: brown, blue

• Twine

• Buttons Galore Sprinkletz Wintery Mix – small blue snowflakes

• Dimensional Foam, Double sided tape, or Glue

What to do:

• Pull Image with Trees, Dotted Frame, and “Snow” from the Ephemera Pack

• NOTE!!!!  Before adhering the following, it is recommended to place all pieces to be sure you get the proper placement, this arrangement is a tight fit on the card!

• Two blue bands 4 x ½ inch... You will need to cut the bands. Attach blue bands to the top and bottom of the pattern paper front panel, 2/8 of and inch from the top and bottom

• Attach “Snow” from the Ephemera Pack with dimensional foam 

• Attach twine to the card above the “SNOW”, taping ends on the back side

• With double sided tape attach Image with Trees from the Ephemera Pack on the Dotted Frame from the Ephemera Pack

• With dimensional foam attach frame to card

• Adhere background panel to the card

• Glue deer as pictured

• Glue Buttons Galore Sprinkletz Wintery Mix – small blue snowflakes around the deer

    

Card #5 – Warm Wishes

• “WARM WISHES” from the Ephemera Pack

• A2 Card and envelope

• Pattern Paper front panel 5 ¼ x 4 inches 

• Elizabeth Craft Designs Die – Stamen Flowers #1802

• Cardstock: light blue, dark blue and white

• Doily

• Silver pen

• Three clear flower centers

• Dimensional Foam, double sided tape and or glue 

What to do:

• Assemble Stamen/Snowflake flowers

o Glue three layers together - each flower set is stacked together

o Glue the center to each flower

o Set aside to dry as you assemble the card.

• Pull out the “WARM WISHES” from the Ephemera Pack

• Edge Pattern Paper front panel with Silver pen

• Adhere Pattern Paper front panel to card base

• Adhere doily to the card, centered top to bottom and about ½ inch from the right edge of the card

• Attach dimensional foam to the back of the “WARM WISHES” from the Ephemera Pack 

• Adhere “WARM WISHES” centered on the Doily about ¼ of an inch from the right edge of the card. 

• With dimensional foam attach the Stamen/Snowflake flowers to the card.

o Smaller Stamen/Snowflake flower is the top one

o Second is the largest

o Third is the medium sized Stamen/Snowflake flowers

• Finally add the two swirls tucking the ends under the Stamen/Snowflake flowers

               

#6 Stand up Snowman – Free-Standing Pop-Up Card - Makes a flat A2 card

What you need.   

• “Snow Much Fun” and “Winter Time” from the Ephemera Pack

• Cottage Cutz Die –Winter Snowman #CC-199

• White Card Base 11 x 4 ¼ inches (scored at 1, 2 ¾, 3 ¾, 5 ½, 7 ¼, 8 ¼ and 10 inches

• Pattern panels cut: Four - 1 ½ x 4 inches pattern paper and Two - ¾ x 4 inches pattern 

• Slider Tag: Blue 5 ¼ x 3 inches and 5 x 2-7/8 inches

• Cardstock: white, blue, and green

• Buttons Galore Sprinkletz Wintery Mix – Snowmen

• Glue and double-sided tape

What to do:

• Score the score lines on the White Card Base 11 x 4 ¼ inches

• Layout panel papers on the white card base and adhere, be sure to not to cover the slit. (picture 2)

• Assemble Tag Slider (do not add any dimensional foam on the slider tag):

o Adhere plaid panel to the blue panel 

o Adhere the “Snow Much Fun” from the Ephemera Pack

oAssemble the snowman 

 Attach arms, 

 Add brim of knit hat to head, attach blue section of hat to the back of the green brim.  Attach green pom to the top of the hat

 Add scarf around the neck, then the long tail of the scarf

 Attach nose and buttons. Finally, with a black pen, add the eyes

o Attach snowman to tag slider as pictured - leave at least and inch and a half below the snowman when  you adhere him to the slider tag. 

• Flip the card base so panels are facing down, fold up the end panels without any pattern paper

• Slide tag into the slit top first.  

• Adhere the bottom of the Slide tag to the white panel – see picture 3.

• Then fold the white card with panels in half and adhere the other end of the white card base to the end the slide tag is attached, sandwiching the tag between the two ends. See side view above. (picture 4)

• Now you can push down the base on the sides of the tag to make the free-standing box! 

• With dimensional foam add the sentiment “Winter Time” from the Ephemera Pack add the Buttons Galore Sprinkletz Wintery Mix – little snowmen randomly on the sentiment panel

Card #1 – HOHOHO 

 What you need: “HO HO HO” from the Bits & Pieces

• A2 Card and envelope

• Pattern Paper front panel 5 ¼ x 4 ¼ inches 

• Washi tape

• Tim Holtz Sizzix Large Funky - Festive #664221

• Cardstock: green

• Gold pen

• Diamond Dust

• Wink of Stella

• Buttons Galore Doo Dadz – Gum drops - in HOHOHO

• Glue, Dimensional foam, and Double-sided tape 

In the tiny bag you will find the word “AND” with it you will find a very small “dot’.  The dot is to dot the “i” in “Bright”

What to do:

• Adhere washi tape to the background panel NOTE: The Washi Tape was adhered to the background panel in the kit

·         • Edge background panel with gold pen

• Adhere background panel to the card

• With dimensional foam attach “HO HO HO” from the Bits & Pieces

• With glue, tuck pine behind “HO HO HO” as pictured

• Apply Wink of Stella to Santa’s beard, hat trim and sleeve trim

• With glue, add Diamond Dust to the pines

• With glue, adhere the gum drops to “HO HO HO”

   

Card #2 – Merry & Bright

What you need:  

• “Santa Face stamp.” from the Bits & Pieces

• A2 Card and envelope

• Pattern Paper front panel 5 ¼ x 4 ¼ inches 

• Elizabeth Craft Ultra Fine Glitter- Warm Diamond

• Elizabeth Craft Double sided Tape 1/2” and 1/4”

• Tim Holtz Sizzix Die – Merry & Bright #664739

• Cardstock: Red

• Dimensional Foam and glue

What to do:

• Pull “Santa Face stamp.” from the Bits & Pieces

• Prepared for you: Front panel with ½ and ¼ inch double sided tape horizontally covered with Elizabeth Craft Ultra Fine Glitter (see how below)

• Adhere mat to the card

• In the upper right, with dimensional foam adhere “Santa Face stamp” from the Bits & Pieces

• With glue attach “MERRY and BRIGHT”

Merry and Bright - adding glitter to card base.  I am using green in my sample so you can see it better. 

First, using washi tape, attach card base to a glass mat with grid line.  Use the grid lines to lay the double sided tape straight on the card base.

Gently remove the card base from the glass and trim the double sided tape to the edge of the card.

Remove the protective cover from the double sided tape. Over a coffee filter or paper generously pour ultra fine glitter over the double sided tape.  

Shake the excess off the card and return to the jar.

Burnish the glitter with your finger and you will see the magic happen.  As you run your finger over the glitter it shines more!!!

Card #3 – 3D Poinsettia

What you need: 

• “HAPPY HOLIDAYS” from the Bits & Pieces

• A2 Card and envelope

• Tim Holtz Sizzix 3D Texture Fade – Poinsettia #664247

• Tim Holtz Sizzix Die – Merry & Bright #664739

• Cardstock: red and green

• Diamond Dust

• Wink of Stella

• Dimensional Foam, Glue and Double-sided tape

What to do: 

If necessary, trim down the red base to fit the card. 

• Pull “HAPPY HOLIDAYS” from the Bits & Pieces

• Prepared for you: Tim Holtz Sizzix 3D Texture Fade – Poinsettia #664247

• Edge Red 3D Textured card front with gold pen

• Adhere red card front to the card

• Lightly apply to one or more flowers as desired. 

• With dimensional foam adhere “HAPPY HOLIDAYS” from the Bits & Pieces and pine springs as pictured

• With glue a bit of Diamond Dust to the pine sprigs

Card #4 – Slimline Elegant Ornament

What you need: 

• Circle “HOHOHO” “Believe” Santa “Merry & Bright” from the Bits & Pieces

• Slimline card

• White mat 

• One-inch double sided tape

• Cardstock: white and green

• Elizabeth Craft Ultra Fine Glitter- Warm Diamond

• Elizabeth Craft Designs Die – Elegant Ornament #1780

• Gold Pen

• Wink of Stella

• Dimensional Foam, Double sided tape, or Glue

What to do:

• Pull Circle “HOHOHO” “Believe” Santa “Merry & Bright” from the Bits & Pieces

• Prepared for you: White mat with one-inch vertical double-sided tape covered with Elizabeth Craft Ultra Fine Glitter

• Edge white mat with glitter with gold pen

• Adhere background panel to the card

• Glue Circle “HOHOHO” from the Bits & Pieces to the back of the circle opening of the Elegant Ornament

• Attach Santa “Merry & Bright” from the Bits & Pieces to Elegant Ornament as pictured tucking it in!

• Attach the Elegant Ornament to the card with glue

• With dimensional foam adhere “Believe” from the Bits & Pieces 

• Add Wink of Stella to Santa as desired

    

Card #5 – Slimline Braided Circles

• Santa “Merry Christmas”, Candy Canes and Bag of Toys from the Bits & Pieces

• Slimline card

• Pink Fresh-Slim Braided Circle Panel #PF031ES 

• Tim Holtz Sizzix Die – Merry & Bright #664739

• Green mat 

• Cardstock: Red and green

• Dimensional Foam and or glue 

• Buttons Galore Sprinkletz Santa’s Tree – Gingerbread men, Candy canes and peppermints

What to do:

• Pull out the Santa “Merry Christmas”, Candy Canes and Bag of Toys from the Bits & Pieces

• Adhere green panel to back of the red panel, place adhesive at the top and bottom only 

• Adhere red panel to the card base

• Attach dimensional foam to the back of the pines only of Santa “Merry Christmas” from the Bits & Pieces

• In the first circle, tuck Santa’s hat under the top of the circle slightly, press the dimension foam to hold in place

• In the center of the second circle, with dimensional foam attach the Candy Canes from the Bits & Pieces

• With glue tuck a pine sprig on the right behind the candy canes as pictured

• Attach dimensional foam to the back of the toys only of Bag of Toys from the Bits & Pieces

• In the third circle, tuck the bottom of the bag under the lower part of the circle slightly, press the dimensional foam to hold in place 

• With glue tuck a pine sprig on the left behind the bag of toys as pictured

• With glue, add peppermints around Santa, Candy Canes around the Candy Canes and Gingerbread men around the bag of toys.

#6 PIZZA BOX

• Adhere leaves and flower to the card with glue

• Attach dimensional foam to the bottom of the Envelope addressed to “Santa Claus” from the Bits & Pieces, then tuck the top of the envelope under the flower as pictured

• Tuck the pine spring as pictured

• Adhere the gingerbread men to the envelope with glue

Finished box is 4 X 4 x ½

 

 

Bonus Tag

What you need:

• White Tag

• Cottage Cutz Die – North Pole Express Tag CCE-576

• Diamond Dust

• Ribbon

• Glue

What you do:

• Glue North Pole Express die cut to tag

• Glue Diamond Dust as desired, let dry

• Add ribbon

Card #1 – HAUNTED - 

 What you need:   **** CAUTION SMALL PIECES IN PACKAGE***** 

• “Spooky” from the ELEMENTS sheet

• A2 Card and envelope

• Pattern Paper front panel 5 ¼ x 4 ¼ inches 

• Pattern paper 2 x 4 ¼

• Tim Holtz Sizzix Die – Haunted 664735

• Elizabeth Craft Designs Die– Halloween Essentials (bat)

• Circle punch 2 inches

• Cardstock: Black, yellow, gray, and craft

• Glue, Dimensional foam, and Double-sided tape 

What to do:

• Adhere background panel to the card 

• Adhere Pattern paper 2 x 4 ¼ to the base of the card

• Assemble the Haunted House

o Cut the gray paper to cover the windows from the back.

o Glue all the little craft pieces to the house see picture – you might want to lay out pieces before you glue them down

o THE steps are in a separate bag

• Glue the moon to the card 

• Arrange the steps and house, adhere the house with dimensional foam, glue the steps.

• Pull “Spooky” from the ELEMENTS sheet

• Glue the bat on the moon

  

   Card #2 – MASQUERADE

What you need:  

• “A mask tells us more than a face.” And three mask squares from the ELEMENTS sheet

• A2 Card and envelope

• Pattern Paper front panel 5 ¼ x 4 ¼ inches 

• Pattern Paper band ½ inch x 5 ¼ inches

• Tim Holtz Sizzix Die – Masquerade 664195 

• Cardstock: Orange

• Dimensional Foam

• Feather

• Sequins 

• Glue – a quick dry glue is best when assembling the knight

What to do:

• Adhere background panel to the card

• Adhere vertical banner about ½ inch from the left side of the card. 

• Punch “A mask tells us more than a face.” And three mask squares from the ELEMENTS sheet

• Adhere the three mask squares to the card on the vertical banner

• With dimensional foam adhere “A mask tells us more than a face.”

• With dimensional foam adhere the mask, leaving space in the nose area to glue the feather.  

• Glue orange eyes in the eye slots…. Use glue, this allows you to move them around to get the placement right, if you use tape it is down and done! 

• Adhere sequins to the mask

• Trim the top of the feather and glue sticking it behind the mask. 

     

Card #3 – HAUNTING WINDOW

What you need: 

• “There is something haunting in the light of the moon” from the ELEMENTS sheet

• A2 Card and envelope

• Pattern Paper front panel 5 ¼ x 4 inches 

• Pattern Paper Die cut window

• Pattern paper for the windowpanes

• Cardstock: Black, orange, and Yellow

• Circle punch – 1 inch

• Dimensional Foam, Glue and Double-sided tape

What to do: 

• Adhere background panel to the card 

• Assemble the window

o Glue the wood pattern “crown” on the black piece of the same shape, slightly offset. This makes it appear dimensional

o Glue the wood pattern window “head” to the top of black window base.  Lining up the top edge of the pattern paper with the black paper.  

o Glue the crown to the top of the window.

o Glue the wood pattern window “sill and apron” to the bottom of the black window base.  Lining up the bottom edge of the pattern paper to the black paper.

o Arrange the moon and bat on the pattern paper windowpanes, you will need to trim the moon, then glue

o Glue the pattern paper windowpanes to the window frame.

o Adhere the window to the black window base with dimensional foam

• Cut “There is something haunting in the light of the moon” from the ELEMENTS sheet Cut each of the words apart at a diagonal. Cut between “is” and “something”, after “something”, after “haunting, after “light” 

• Glue to the words on the long orange piece of orange card stock, leave little space between each word. This will create a mat for the words.   Cut the orange card stock separating the words with frames. Glue the words to the card. BE SURE to glue them in the correct order!

 

Card #4 – Halloween Witch 

What you need: 

• “The MOON has awoken with the sleep of the SUN,” from the ELEMENTS sheet

• A2 Card and envelope

• Pattern paper background - 5 ¼ x 4 inches

• Elizabeth Craft Designs Die – Halloween Accessories (Feather)

• Joy Crafts Die– Flying Witch 6002/1344

• Tim Holtz Sizzix Die – Regions Beyond #664207 (Crow)

• Circle punch – 2 inches

• Cardstock: Black, and yellow

• Dimensional Foam, Double sided tape, or Glue

What to do:

• Adhere background panel to the card

• Pull “The MOON has awoken with the sleep of the SUN,” from the ELEMENTS sheet and adhere to the card 

• Glue the witch to the moon

• Attach to the card with dimensional foam

• Adhere the crow and feather to the card with dimensional foam. 

• Attach the witch to the card with dimensional foam, using double pieces under the hat.

• Attach the Prima Art Pebbles directly over spiders to make them look larger than they are!

 

   

Card #5 – HOCUS POCUS

• “Hocus Pocus” from the ELEMENTS sheet

• A2 Card and envelope

• Pattern paper background – one-5 ½ x 4

• Pattern paper (Bats) vertical band – one-5 ½ x 1 7/8 

• Frantic Stamper Die – Witch Legs & Hat FRA-DIE-09236

• Circle punch – 2 inches

• Cardstock: Black and orange

• Dimensional Foam and or glue 

• Ribbon - bow

What to do:

• Adhere background panel to the card

• Adhere vertical band (bats) to the card off center as pictured

• Pull “Hocus Pocus” from the ELEMENTS sheet

• Prepare the witch legs:

o Find the black boot & legs, cut off the portion of the legs ONLY!

o Glue the black boot onto the strip leg and boot 

• On the orange MOON (circle) arrange the witch hat, hocus pocus, and feet. Then glue them to the moon 

• Adhere the moon with dimensional foam

• Adhere the bow with glue

                            

Card #6 GRAVEYARD 

What you need PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THIS CARD BEFORE YOU START.   

• “Shadows of a thousand years rise again unseen…” from the ELEMENTS sheet

• A2 Card and envelope

• Pattern paper background – four panels-5 1/4 x 2 ½ 

• Ivory paper “Seam Binding” 5 ½ x 2 inches scored at 1 inch

• Orange paper 3 x ½

• Cardstock: Black, ivory, orange. gray

• Glue and double-sided tape

What to do:

• A2 card scored at 2 2/16, 4 ¼ and 6 10/16 – burnish the score lines

• For this step please use glue. 

o It is easier to move the paper in case you need to adjust. 

o Put glue on one side of the Ivory “Seam Binding”, DONOT get glue on the score line.

o Adhere the side of the Ivory “Seam Binding” to the inside of the card, line up the edge of the card with the one-inch score line.

o With the card lying flat, opening in the center, glue the exposed side of the Ivory “Seam Binding”, then fold the other side of the card to the enter and press. You have a square column! REMOVE any oozing glue. 

           

  

• Create a “butterfly” hinge

o     Figure 1 - Orange paper 3 x ½ - scored at ½, 1, 1 ½, 2. 2 ½  folded and burnished - pictured 

o     Figure 2 - As pictured glue sides 2 & 3 together and     4 & 5 together

o     Figure 3 – the “X” is your butterfly hinge

• Glue the “butterfly” hinge to the orange moon, put on two side facing each other and pace on the moon.  REMOVE any oozing glue.

• Then place glue in the “V” on the back of the moon

• Then attach the moon to the square column near on the opposite side of the seam, near the top of the card.  Be sure the top of the moon is lower than the top of the column.  REMOVE any oozing glue.

• The card should be able to lay flat. 

          

• Adhere the four pattern panels to the four sections

• Add the bat to the moon

• Adhere the graveyard to the card, only place adhesive along the bottom of the graveyard 

• Glue the bottom of the tree and tuck behind the graves as pictured

• Add leaves to the scene as desired. 

 

Card insert

• Fold tab in half glue the circle part of the tab together.  

• Attach the insert, gluing only the back part of the tab leave the front so it can hang over the front of the card (see picture of finished card. 

• Attach the spider and the web to the insert. 

• Attach “Shadows of a thousand years rise again unseen…” from the ELEMENTS sheet

Card #1 – Castle Shaped Card - Additional pictures on my blog 

 What you need:   **** CAUTION SMALL PIECES IN PACKAGE***** 

• CREEP IT REAL from the paper pad

• Castle card and one half of castle card

• Card fits an A2 Envelope

• Elizabeth Craft Designs Die– Castle Folding Card 

• Tim Holtz Frightful Things Die set (Web)

• Cardstock: Black, orange, purple, yellow, gray, and dark gray

• Distress Oxide Ink – Hickory Smoke and Blender Tool

• Glue, Dimensional foam, and Double-sided tape 

What to do:

• READ THIS Keep in mind when making this card it fits an A2 envelope ONLY if the card is not higher than the tallest turrets and not wider than the castle sides.  Lesson learned: the lower bat on my card sticks out too far on the right to fit an envelope. 

• Glue the half castle card to the inside back of the front.  Before gluing and attaching be sure the turrets of the castle line up on both pieces. 

• You have more windows than you will need, you can decide which ones you want yellow or gray.  NOTE:  There are two sizes of windows.

• OPTIONAL: Ink the roof pieces, windows, door, hinges, and keyhole with Distress Oxide Ink – Hickory Smoke

• Before gluing layout your pieces. Lay things out and plan what will go where. 

• Glue two orange flags to the back of purple flags and the third purple to the back of the third orange. 

• Glue the flags to the turrets as pictured, then glue the roof of the turrets. Sandwich the flag between the castle and the turret. (If you glue the flags to the highest turrets you will need a bigger envelope.)

• Glue the windows in place

• Add the door, hinges, and keyhole

• Attach the spider web and spider

• Add the bats

• With dimensional foam attach “CREEP IT REAL”

Card #2 – Knight in Armor   **** CAUTION SMALL PIECES IN PACKAGE*****

What you need: 

• From the paper pad: “Happy Halloween” castle 

• A2 Card

• Pattern Paper front panel 5 ¼ x 4 ¼ inches 

• Pattern Paper band 1 x 4 ¼ inches

• Green paper to mat Ephemera Pack: “Happy Halloween” castle 

• Elizabeth Craft Designs Die – Knight Armor

• Cardstock: Purple, gray, dark gray, green and bright green

• Dimensional Foam 

• Glue – a quick dry glue is best when assembling the knight

What to do:

• OPTIONAL: Ink the All gray, dark gray and purple pieces (except the feathers)

• Assemble the Knight- as you assemble the knight let it set a couple of seconds between gluing’s

o Glue the dark gray face shield to the back of the light gray face shield

o Attach the face shield to the helmet.  

o Add the two gray shoulder pieces to the body, attach arms and hands 

o Add the dark gray waist band “upside down T” to the armor

o Glue the purple skirt to the body armor, then attach the legs and feet.

o Glue the neck to the body and then the head

o Add the purple collar and the cape 

o Assemble the spear and the sword. (Set aside to attach to the knight later.) 

• Adhere background panel to the card

• Adhere the green banner about ¼ inch from the bottom of the card. 

• From the paper pad “Happy Halloween” castle. Attach to the green mat, cut to size- WAIT to adhere to card

• Adhere the three feathers to the top of the knight.  Check to see if he is too tall, they may need to go to one side.

• Compare the placement of the knight and the Happy Halloween Castle, making sure you can read “Happy Halloween:” Attach the matted “Happy Halloween” castle with double sided tape

• Attach the knight with dimensional foam.  Attach the sword and spear, the spear will need to be trimmed.

Card #3 – Pirate Frog **** CAUTION SMALL PIECES IN PACKAGE*****

What you need: 

• Ephemera Pack: “It’s All About the Candy” 

• A2 Card

• Pattern Paper front panel 5 ¼ x 4 inches 

• Elizabeth Craft Designs Frog

• Elizabeth Craft Designs Halloween Accessories (Pirate Hat and Bats)

• Patten paper banner

• Google eyes

• Cardstock: Black, purple, green, bright green, red, yellow, and white

• Dimensional Foam, Glue and Double-sided tape

• White Pen 

What to do: 

• Adhere background panel to the card, then adhere purple die cut background die to the card 

• Pull “It’s All About the Candy” from the ephemera pack and mat it on the green paper, trim to size. Set aside!

• Assemble the Frog- as you assemble the frog let it set a couple of seconds between gluing’s

o Starting with the body glue the round green circle onto lower edge of the green oval. 

o Attach the hind legs and then the front legs to the body. 

o Now for the head: glue the piece that resembles an “8” to the head, his bulging eyes

o Attach the whites of the eyes and then google eyes

o Add the mouth and tongue

o Attach to the head to the body

o Glue the skull and crossbones to the pirate hat. 

o Attach the hat to the frog’s head

• Attach the lily pad to the card with double sided adhesive 

• With dimensional foam attach the frog to the card

• Attach the matted “It’s All About the Candy” to the card with dimensional foam

• Add the bats and crown 

• Finally, with a white pen, add eyes peering from the dark behind the frog!

Card #4 – Halloween Witch **** CAUTION SMALL PIECES IN PACKAGE*****

What you need: 

• Ephemera Pack: “Trick or Treat”   

• A7 Card and envelope

• Pattern paper background - 5 ¼ x 4 inches

• Pattern paper Band - 1 x 4 inches

• Pattern paper to die cut under skirt

• Elizabeth Craft Designs – Princess

• Elizabeth Craft Designs – Halloween Accessories (Broom and Witches hat)

• Cardstock: Black, green, brown, orange, and yellow

• Dimensional Foam, Double sided tape, or Glue

• Google Eyes

• Black Jelly Roll Glaze Pen or black pen

• 3 - Prima Art Pebbles

What to do:

• Adhere background panel to the card

• From the ephemera pack pull “Trick or Treat”. With double sided tape, attach it to the upper right corner of the card

• Attach plaid banner 1 x 4 of an inch, about ¼ inch from the bottom of the card. 

• Assemble the Witch- as you assemble the witch let it set a couple of seconds between gluing’s

o Starting with the head glue the green face to the solid black circle hair shape.

o Glue the banges to the green face, and the black pigtails to the head.

o Add google eyes and a smile with a Black Jelly Roll Glaze Pen

o Attach the pattern under skirt to the back of the black dress, be sure the pattern stars are showing

o Attach arms, then add legs and shoes

o Glue body to the dress, lining up the shoulders 

o Add the orange “V” shape to the dress top. 

o Glue head to the body. 

o Add the orange band and buckle to the witch’s hat, attach to the head with dimensional foam. 

o Glue the orange band to the broom bristles and attach to the handle 

• Attach the witch to the card with dimensional foam, using double pieces under the hat.

• Attach the Prima Art Pebbles directly over spiders to make them look larger than they are!

    

Card #5 – Shaker Card 

What you need:

• Ephemera Pack: “Hip Hip Hooray its Candy Day” and Witch tag (CUT DOWN) and Scallop Frame

• A2 Card – scored at 2 inches and 4 inches 

• Pattern paper background – one-5 ½ x 4

• Pattern paper shaker background – 2 x 2

• Transparency – 2 x 2 

• Cardstock: Black for mats

• Dimensional Foam and or glue 

• Pumpkin Ribbon & Tulle

• Buttons Galore Sprinkletz

•

What to do:

• Adhere background panel to the card

• Add the ribbon pumpkins to the lower left corner of the card 

• From the ephemera pack pull “Hip Hip Hooray its Candy Day” and Witch tag (CUT DOWN) Adhere to the black mat, cut to size. Set aside. 

• Make shaker part of card

o Pull the Scallop Frame from the ephemera pack 

o Make sure the transparency is smaller than the outside of the frame

o Attach transparency to the back of the scallop frame

o Be sure that pattern paper background is smaller than the frame. 

o Attach dimensional foam tape to the back of the transparency, make sure the corners meet 

o Fill the center with your sequins and beads. 

o Place the background image on to the dimensional foam, image towards the transparency going in the right direction

• Attach the shaker to the card as pictured with the matted images.  Attach the matted “Hip Hip Hooray its Candy Day” and Witch with dimensional foam 

• Add the spooky tulle bow to the card as pictured, below the shaker

                 

Card #6 Pumpkins and Pumpkins! **** Delicate spider web and spider in package*****

What you need:

 • Ephemera Pack: “Pumpkins come Pumpkins GO… but Jack-o-lanterns steal the show” and from the paper pad “What’s Up Pumpkin?”  

• A2 Card

• Pattern paper background – one-5 ½ x 4

• Tim Holtz Die – spider Web and Spider

• Cardstock: Black

What to do:

• Edge background with black pen

• Adhere background panel to the card

• Attach Spider web die to the top half of the card as pictured

• From the Ephemera pack pull the “Pumpkins come Pumpkins GO… but Jack-o-lanterns steal the show”

• As pictured, with dimensional foam, attach the large “Pumpkins come Pumpkins GO…” from the ephemera pack

• Attach “What’s Up Pumpkin?” with dimensional foam as pictured

• Glue the top of the thread the spider is hanging on to the web and attach the spider with dimensional foam.

• Optional: Add shimmer to the spider web and spider with Wink of Stella

After you glue the flower to the card, cut the piece of  tulle in four pieces (only three are pictured).  

Scrunch the tulle, put glue on one end and tuck it under the flower. repeat with the other pieces of tulle tucking  them around the flower.

• Sticker Sheet: “Dreams” cut from the long border strip

• A2 Card

• Pattern Paper front panel 5 ¼  x 4 ¼ inches 

• Elizabeth Craft Designs - Flourished Night Sky #1561 (pre cut)

• Cardstock green

• Elizabeth Craft Designs Stencil-Make Your Mark S031

• Glue and Double-sided tape 

• Gold pen

• White Ribbon

• White Tulle 

• Large flower

• Wink of Stella

What to do:

• Edge background with gold pen

• Cut a small slit at the edge of the Fairies Wing, just big enough for the Oval flourish to fit through 

• Tuck the cut end of the Oval Flourish closest to the loops in the slit. Get it in place and tape on the back to hold it there.

• On the front of the card trim the Oval Flourish so that it will end behind the flower on the front of the card. See pictures above

• Adhere background panel to the card, adjusting the Oval Flourish making sure it is flat, adhere the end of the Oval Flourish to the card.

• Attach large flower with glue

• Gather bits of tulle to tuck behind the flower (See pictures above)

• With glue arrange tulle around the flower 

• Hold in place until the glue starts to take hold

• Glue bow to card

• With Dimensional Foam attach “DREAMS” sticker as pictured

• Add shimmer to the Fairies Wings with WINK OF STELLA

Card #2 – Peeking through the Gate

What you need: 

• A2 Card

• Pattern Paper front panel 5 ¼  x 4 ¼  inches 

• Elizabeth Craft Designs Die – Ornate Gateway # 1761

• Elizabeth Craft Designs Die – Flourished Night Sky #1561 – Flower die

• Cardstock Craft Pink and Purple

• Dimensional Foam 

• Double-sided tape or Glue

What to do:

• Edge background with gold pen

• Adhere background panel to the card

• Add shimmer to the fairies wings on the background panel

• Adhere the purple gate to the pink gate slightly off so you and see the pink behind the purple. 

• Attach the gate to the card placing it so the fairie on the background is peeking thorough

• Attach the three flowers and leaves at the base of the gate

• Add the Buttons Galore DOO DADZ Purple Rain to the center of the flowers            

Card #3 – Fairie Flower Garden

What you need:

• Sticker Sheet: “Dreams Enchantments” cut from the long border strip and Daisy border sticker

• A7 Card

• Pattern Paper front panel 5 ¼ x 4 inches

• Pattern paper to fussy cut

• Fairie Card

• Butterfly punch (three butterflies)

• Patten paper banner

• Dimensional Foam

• Glue

• Double-sided tape

• Gold pen

What to do:

• Edge background with gold pen

• Adhere background panel to the card

• Adhere a portion of the Daisy border sticker to the bottom of the panel on the card

• Attach the fairies’ card with dimensional foam about ¾ of an inch from the bottom and ½ and inch from the left

• Fussy cut flowers from pattern paper as pictured

• As pictured, attach fussy cut flowers with dimensional foam, use one thickness of dimensional foam for the flowers over lapping onto the fairies’ card and two thickness for the pieces attached to the background panel

• With dimensional foam attach banner to the card using one thickness on the part overlapping onto the fairies card and two thicknesses on the section attached to the background panel.

• Glue butterflies to the card

• Add the Buttons Galore DOO DADZ Purple Rain to the center of the flowers

• With dimensional foam attach “Dreams Enchantments” sticker

• Add shimmer to the flowers with Wink of Stella

Card #4 – Believe
What you need:

• Sticker Sheet: “Believe” and Floral border and “May you touch butterflies…” border stickers

• A7 Card and envelope

• Graphic 45 Fairies card

• Pattern paper background - 5 ¼ x 4 inches

• Pattern paper to die cut leaves

• Elizabeth Craft Designs – Street Lights # 1762

• Tim Holtz Sizzix Fall Foliage #660995

• Dimensional Foam

• Double sided tape or Glue

• Gold pen

• Buttons Galore DOO DADZ Purple Rain

• Wink of Stella

What to do:

• Edge background with gold pen

• Adhere background panel to the card

• Attach “May you touch butterflies…” border sticker to the bottom of the card panel just above the gold pen line

• Attach Graphic 45 Fairies card to the card with one layer of dimensional foam

• Attach the frame of the “Believe” sticker with two layers of dimensional foam, placing it in the middle of the frame

• Using one layer of dimensional foam attach the leaves popping out from behind the “Believe” frame as pictured

• Attach the die cut Street Light to the right side of the card with glue as pictured

• Attach Buttons Galore DOO DADZ Purple Rain as desired

• Add shimmer to the leaves with Wink of Stella

 

Card #5 – Make a Wish

What you need:

• Sticker Sheet: “Make a Wish”

• A2 Card – scored at 2 inches and 4 inches

• Pattern paper background – one-5 ½ x 4

• Elizabeth Craft Designs Die – Mandala #1760

• Cardstock white

• Distress ink – Speckled Egg (or comparable color)

• Gold pen

• Dimensional Foam and or glue

• Silver thread

• Clear bubbles

• Wink of Stella

What to do:

• Edge background with gold pen

• Adhere background panel to the card

• Cut Mandala in half – (NOTE: I tried to cut it so it looked like the fairies were standing and sitting on it)

• Gently ink the Mandala with Distress ink – Speckled Egg (or comparable color)

• Adhere the Mandala to the card

• With dimensional foam attach the “Make a Wish” Sticker

• Make a silver bow with thread, adhere to the card above “Make a Wish”

• Attach the Clear bubbles randomly on the card

• Add shimmer to random bubbles with Wink of Stella

 

Card #6 A SLIMLINE CARD ***They are all the RAGE***
What you need

• Sticker Sheet: Green “Magic is believing” small & large bubbles with Fairies, long green border sticker with scallops

• Slimline card it 9 ¼ x 3 3/8 fitting a business size envelope

• Pattern paper background – 8 x 3 ½ inches

• Pattern paper topper – 3 ¾ x 2 inches

• Paper Roses Fairy Isabella die 16939

• Elizabeth Craft Designs Die – Flourished Night Sky #1561 (star)

• Doily, Dew Drops, Glitter paper, Wink of Stella and Gold Pen

What to do:

• Edge background and topper with gold pen

• WARNING” When working with the pattern papers be sure you have them oriented in the correct direction!!!!

• Attach the large bubble with Fairie to the doily

• Adhere the doily to the large panel about ¾ of and inch from the bottom, the right side should just touch the gold border, you will need to trim a bit from the left side

• Adhere background 8 x 3 ½ inches panel to the card, lining it up at the bottom

• With double sided adhesive attach the green strip of pattern paper to the bottom of the card, the little square should be on the right.

• Attach the long green border sticker with scallops to the left side of the card with the scallops facing into the panel

• With one layer of dimensional foam attach the pattern paper topper – 3 ¾ x 2 inches to the top of the card

• With one layer of dimensional foam attach the green “Magic is believing” sticker to the topper

• With two layers of dimensional foam attach the star to the card just below the topper as pictured, glue the flourish potion of the die to the topper.

• Attach the small bubbles with Fairie with one layer of dimensional foam

• Add shimmer to the wings of the die cut fairies silhouette, with one layer of dimensional foam attach to the card

• Randomly attach dew drops to the card

CARD #1 – RACCOON
What you need:
· Ephemera: “Enjoy the Simple Life” and Mushrooms with Ferns
· A2 Card
· Pattern Paper front panel 5 1/4 x 4 inches
· Elizabeth Craft Designs - Raccoon #1683
· Cardstock black, gray and white
· Oxide Ink - Hickory Smoke (or comparable colors)
· Mouse
· Elizabeth Craft Designs Stencil-Make Your Mark S031
· Glue and Double-sided tape
· Gold pen
· Black Jelly Roll Glaze Pen Animal Faces

What to do:
· Mouse background (completed in kit)
· Edge background with gold pen
· Adhere background panel to the card
· Assemble raccoon:
· Ink all grey pieces with Oxide Ink - Hickory Smoke (or comparable colors)

Assemble Raccoon:

o Start with head: attach the muzzle to the head, add nose, and then ink the mouth with Jelly Roll pen

o Attach the eye bands, ant then add the whites of the eyes with a Jelly Roll pen

o Attach inside of the ear (gray) to the outside ear black

o Attach ears to the head

o On the body, attach the breast, then the two legs to the sides

o Then add the feet as pictured

o Attach the head to the body

o On the tail ass the gray stripes to the black die cut tail and then attach it to the body

· With dimensional foam attach Ephemera: “Mushrooms and Ferns” as pictured
· With dimensional foam attach Ephemera: “Enjoy the Simple Life” as pictured on top of “Mushrooms and Ferns”
· With dimensional foam attach the raccoon

                                                                                            

 

Card #2 – LIVING THE LIFE WE LOVE

What you need:

·        Ephemera: “Living the Life we LOVE” and a butterfly

·      A2 Card
· Pattern Paper front panel 5 1/4 x 4 inches
· Budding floral die cut from pattern paper
· Elizabeth Craft Designs Die – Budding Florals #1758
· Cardstock Craft
· Dimensional Foam
· Double-sided tape or Glue
· Gold pen
· Optional add embellishments: sequins, Nuvo Drops

What to do:
· Edge background with gold pen 

· Adhere background panel to the card
· Attach the two budding florals to the background, one is craft glued to the pattern paper, other die cut from patten paper attached with dimensional foam
· Attach ““Living the Life we LOVE” – from the ephemera pack) with dimensional foam (double the dimensional foam on the left side)
· Attach butterfly with adhesive on the center and dimensional foam under the wings.

      

     

      Card #3 – LIKE MORE 

What you need:
· Ephemera: Flower bloom
· A7 Card

What you need:

· A7 Card and envelope
· Pattern paper background - 5 – 3 7/8 inches

o   Ink edges of ivory pieces with Oxide ink – Spiced Marmalade (or comparable color)

o   Assemble head – attach white face to the base

o   Add eyes and nose, draw mouth with Black Jelly Roll Glaze Pen

o   Attach inside of the ear (ivory) to the outside ear pattern, attach ears to the head

o   On the body, attach the breast piece

o   Then add the feet as pictured

o   Attach the head to the body

o   On the tail add the tip and then attach it to the body

    Ink edges of tree stump, Oxide Inks- Gathered Twigs (or comparable), adhere to card with glue
· Ink six mushroom pieces, assemble mushrooms, attach to card with dimensional foam
· With dimensional foam attach Ephemera: “Makes my Heart Happy”
· Attach Elizabeth Craft Designs Die – Blooming Branches #1757, glue to card and to “makes my heart happy” as pictured
· With foam tape attach fox to card

                                        

Card #6 A World to Wonder

What you need
· Ephemera: “A World to Wonder”
· A2 Card

o   Fill the center with your sequins and beads.

o   Place the background image on to the dimensional foam, image towards the transparency

o   Attach Hexagon to the back of the tag shaker

·        Attach the shaker to the card as pictured

·        Add Twine bow with glue

·        Attach butterfly and Ephemera: “A World to Wonder”

Card #2 – BEE – Oh Happy Day

What you need:

·        Ephemera: “OH HAPPY DAY” (rectangle) and background floral panel and round flower

·        A2 Card

·        Pattern Paper front panel 5 1/4 x 4 inches

·        Elizabeth Craft Designs Die – Bee #1177

·        Cardstock Red, black, yellow, and white

·        Dimensional Foam

·        Double-sided tape

·        Glue

·        Optional add embellishments: sequins, Nuvo Drops

What to do:

·        Adhere background panel to the card

·        Attach the background floral panel (from the ephemera pack) with dimensional foam

·        With dimensional foam attach round flower (from the ephemera pack)

·        Assemble Bees

o   Adhere black pieces to the yellow bodies

o   Attach wings to the bodies – see how the point of the wings are attached just at the base of the head

o   Add the red heart to the bee with stripes

o   Attach Bees to the card with dimensional foam

·        Attach “OH HAPPY DAY” (rectangle – from the ephemera pack) with dimensional foam

        

      Card #3 – Shaker

 

***ASSEMBLE SHAKER BEFORE ATTACHING BACKGROUND TO CARD!***

 

What you need:

·        Ephemera: “Summertime”

·        A2 Card

·        Pattern Paper front panel 5 1/4 x 4 inches

·        Tim Holtz – Sizzix dimensional domes

·        Tim Holtz Sizzix Stacked Tiles Circles #664437

·        Cardstock Yellow

·        Dimensional Foam

·        Glue

·        Double-sided tape

·        Buttons Galore Garden Party Embellishments

·        Beads, Sequins

What to do:

·        Assemble shaker first using the dome provided

o   Place the dome on the table like a bowl

o   Fill the bowl as desired with sequins and beads

o   Carefully remove the white ring to expose the adhesive

o   Place the solid yellow circle of the die cut over the adhesive sealing the sequins and beads in the dome

o   Turn the dome over

·        Adhere dome to the hole in the background panel, carefully place glue around the lip on the dome

·        Place the background panel over the dome, let it set for a couple of minutes.

·        Adhere background panel to the card

·        Attach “Summertime” (from the ephemera pack) with dimensional foam

Card #4 – Spring Bird *

What you need:

·        Ephemera: “Life is Good”

·        A2 Card

·        Pattern paper background - 5 – 3 7/8 inches

·        Elizabeth Craft Designs Die – Winter Bird #1685

·        Tim Holtz Sizzix Fall Foliage #660955

·        Dimensional Foam

·        Cardstock Brown, green, blue, orange, and black

·        Double sided tape or Glue

·        Oxide ink - Broken China (or comparable color)

·        Optional add embellishments: sequins, Nuvo Drops

What to do:

·        Adhere pattern background panel to card

·        Assemble Bird

o   Ink blue pieces of the bird with Oxide ink

o   Attach smaller oval the larger oval (BODY)

o   Attach wings as pictured

o   Attach tail

o   Attach circle with “V” cut to full circle to create the head

o   Attach head to the body

o   Add eyes and beak to head

o   Set aside

·        Attach branch and leaves to the card

·        Add the bird with dimensional foam to the card

·        With dimensional foam attach “Life is Good”

 

 

   

Card #5 – CUTE KOALAS

What you need:

·        Ephemera: “OH HAPPY DAY” (round) “Sunshine & Happiness

·        A2 Card – scored at 2 inches and 4 inches

·        Pattern paper background – one-5 ¼ x 4, two-5 ¼ x 2, one-5 ¼ x 1-7/8 and two- 

·        Ivory Band: 10 ½ x 2 (scored at 2 inches and 4 inches)

·        Elizabeth Craft Designs Die – Koala #1729 (two Koalas)

·        Cardstock Gray, black, brown, green, and pink

·        Simple Stories Summer Farmhouse Washi Tape

·        Oxide ink – Hickory Smoke, Pink Lipstick or Pickled Raspberry (or comparable colors)

·        Black Jelly Roll Glaze Pen

·        Dimensional Foam and or glue

What to do ;

·        Adhere background pieces to the card, matching the sizes to the panels

·        Add Washi tape to the largest panel 5 ¼ x 1-7/8 of the ivory band, wrapping around the edges

·        Adhere background pieces to the ivory band, matching the sizes to the panels

·        Attach the ivory band to the card base as pictured, NOTE: on the left side of the panel attach far left edge ONLY, you will be able to tuck the Koala in and later secure the reminder of the section.

·        Assemble Koalas - there are two packages of pieces

o   Ink edges of gray pieces with Oxide ink

o   Ink edges of pink with Oxide ink – Worn Lipstick

o   With Black Jelly Roll Glaze Pen, on the face-draw the mouth, follow the score lines

o   Attach head to the body

o   Attach tail to the body

o   Attach arm to the body of one koala (save the other arm for later)

o   Attach pink to the ears, then attach to the head

o   Attach the koala with the arm attached to the tree

o   Add leaves to the tree

·        Attach koala on the tree to the card as pictured

·        Add “OH HAPPY DAY” (round) “Sunshine & Happiness (from the ephemera pack)

·        Attach climbing koala without arm to the left panel, tuck him in like he is climbing over the panel,

·         Secure the panel the with the climbing Koala

 

           

 

Card #6 Dandelion Fluff

What you need

·        Ephemera: “I dream of Summers…”

·        A2 Card

·        Pattern paper background - 5 ¼ x 4

·        Elizabeth Craft Designs Die – Dandelion Fluff # 1321

       Card #1 – Birthday Candles   

        What you need
         Sticker: “HAPPY DAY”

·        A2 Card

·        Pattern Paper front panel 5 1/4 x 4 inches

·        Small red panel

·        Elizabeth Craft Designs Candle Die

·        Elizabeth Craft Designs Celebration Flags Die

·        Cardstock Blue, light blue, red and yellow

·        Double sided tape or glue

     What to do:

·        Adhere background panel to the card

·        Cut the Happy Birthday card from strip of cards

·        Attach Happy Birthday to the small panel

·        Assemble candles

o   Remove all the pieces of the die that remain in the dark blue candles

o   Layer the dark blue candles on the light blue

o   Glue the yellow flame to the light blue flame

·        Assemble card

·        Trim red celebration flags as desired and attach to the card

·        With foam tape attach Happy Birthday on red card stock

·        Attach candles as pictured above

·        From the sticker sheet attach Happy Day with foam tape.

Card #2 – Slice of Cake

 What you need

        Stickers: “FUN, SWEET and YUM”

·        A2 Card

·        Pattern Paper front panel 5 1/4 x 4 inches

·        Band 1 x 4 inches

·        Elizabeth Craft designs CAKE

·        Elizabeth Craft Designs Die – Labels #1391

·        ECD Stamps – Birthday Sentiments #CS06

·        VeraMark Black Ink

·        Embossing powder clear

·        Heat tool

·        Cardstock Red, pink, teal, blue, green

·        Dimensional Foam

·        Double sided tape or Glue

     
     What to do:

·        Adhere background panel to the card

·        Adhere pattern band about a half inch from the bottom

·        Assemble Cake

o   Adhere ivory base to the blue plate

o   Attach pink icing to the slice of cake

o   Add the whip cream

o   Color the stem of the cherry with a black pen. I used a Black Jelly Roll Glaze Pen

o   Attach Cherry, strawberry to cake

o   Attach the blue candle on to the yellow candle. 

o   Attach the cake to the card with dimensional foam one the band

·        Attach stamped sentiment with dimensional foam as pictured

·        Add Stickers: “FUN, SWEET and YUM” to the top left

        

Card #3 – Honey Bear (Boy OR Girl)

What you need

·        From the Stickers: “Happy Birthday to you”

·        A2 Card

·        Pattern Paper front panel 5 1/4 x 4 inches

·        Band 1 x 4 inches

·        Elizabeth Craft Designs Honey Bear Die

·        Hobby Solution Balloon Die – # HSFD013

·        Black Jelly Roll Glaze Pen Honey Bear mouth

·        Blending Tool

·        Oxide Inks - Gathered Twigs or Antique Linen or Vintage Photo

·        Cardstock: Craft, blue, pink yellow, red, ivory

·        Dimensional Foam

·        Glue or Double sided tape

·        Silver pen

What to do:

·        Adhere background panel to the card

·        Adhere pattern band about a quarter inch from the bottom

·        Assemble Honey Bear

o   Distress a bear body parts if desired

o   Attach large ivory oval to the body of the bear

o   Attach small ivory oval to the head of the bear

o   Draw the mouth with Black Jelly Roll Glaze on the mouth indentation

o   Attach black nose and googly eyes to the head

o   Attach small ivory circles the craft circles (ears), attach to the head

o   Attach head to the body

o   Attach arms and legs to the body

o   Add pink or blue bow to as pictured to the Honey Bear

o   With dimensional foam attach to the card.

·        From the Stickers: “Happy Birthday to you” attach to the card with dimensional foam

·        Attach Balloon with dimensional foam (the little reflection of light was colored silver and attached to the balloon)

·        Add balloon string

Card #4 – Balloons  **** WARNING SMALL PIECES****

Optional – I did not have time to color the little pieces for the balloons that reflect light…Like I did for the Honey Bear card. They are very small red and yellow pieces in the package. If you would like to add them to the card color them silver with your Silver Sharpie pen and glue them to the balloons.  

What you need

·        From the Sticker sheet: “YAY for CAKE”

·        A2 Card

·        Pattern paper background - 5 – 3 7/8 inches

·        Red card panel 5 ¼ - 4 inches

·        Hobby Solution Balloon Die – # HSFD013

·        Dimensional Foam

·        Cardstock Yellow and Red

·        Double sided tape

·        Glue

·        Sequins – optional

What to do:
Adhere pattern background panel to red cardstock panel
Attach to the card

·        Attach From the Sticker sheet: “YAY for CAKE” with dimensional foam

·         Attach red balloon to the card

·        Attach yellow balloons with dimensional foam

·        Add strings

·        Add sequins

Card #5 – Shaker

What you need

·        From the Sticker sheet: “Orange frame” and “Time to Celebrate You”

·        A2 Card

·        Pattern paper background - 5 ¼ x 4

·        Happy birthday pattern for back of shaker

·        Elizabeth craft Designs – Celebration Flags

·        Cardstock red

·        Dimensional Foam, Glue and Double-sided tape

·        Doily

·        White Flower (tinted by the instructor with Oxide Spray)

·        Water brush

·        Oxide Spray - Vintage Photo

What to do:

·        Adhere background Panel to the card

·        Add doily to the card

·        Assemble shaker – use the orange polka dot frame from the sticker sheet

o   Make sure the transparency is smaller than the orange polka dot frame

o   Attach transparency to the back of the frame

o   Be sure that pattern paper background HAPPY BIRTHDAY is smaller than the frame.

o   Attach dimensional foam tape around the back of the transparency, make sure the corners meet

o   Fill the center with your sequins and beads.

o   Place the background image on to the dimensional foam, image you want to see towards the transparency

o   Attach the shaker to the card as pictured

·        Add sticker “Time to Celebrate You” to the bottom of the Shaker

·        Attach flower to the card

·        Trim and attach Celebration Flags to the card

           

Card #6 Birthday Animals

What you need

·        A2 Card

·        Pattern paper background - 5 ¼ x 4

·        Elizabeth craft Designs – Celebration Flags

·        Cardstock Red and blue

·        Dimensional Foam, Glue and Double-sided tape

·        Glue, double sided tape, dimensional foam

·        Silver Pen

·        Sequins Optional

What to do:
 Adhere background panel to the card
Attach blue cardstock panel to the card ¼ of an inch from the bottom
Cut 3 animal cards from block of cards
Edge with cards with silver pen
Attach the three cards to the blue panel on the card with dimensional foam
Attach Celebration banner to the card
Optional add sequins.

    Card #1 – Oyster Pop-up Card

       What you need

 Elizabeth Craft Designs Oyster Card Die

·        Elizabeth Craft Designs Mermaid Die

·        Elizabeth Craft Designs Seaweed Die

·        Cardstock craft

·        Double sided tape

·        Glue

·        Ribbon

·        Ink Optional Oxide Ink Gathered Twigs

     What to do:

·        Fold Oyster card in half

·        Fold Oyster card pop up as pictured above

·        Glue pop up in card – careful not to get any glue near the hole

·        Adhere the three smaller pieces of seaweed to the back of the oyster

·        Adhere two pieces of the rocky base to the back of the card, covering the base of the seaweed

·        Attach large seaweed to the pop up

·        Adhere the third rocky base to the pop up covering the base of the seaweed

·        Assemble the mermaid: attach arms to body, then the head to the body. Glue smaller hair piece to the front of mermaid’s face. Add large piece of hair to back of mermaid head (as pictured) tucking in the headband.  Add pink fishtail to body and purple tail.  Finish with mermaid top, waist band and crown.

·        Add Seagulls, sea star, shell and pearl.

 Card #2 – Octopus Step Card

 What you need

·        Precut and folded easel card – peach cardstock

·        Card “Ocean Blue” from 8X8 pad

·        3 Precut pattern paper panels for the easel card

·        Elizabeth Craft designs Octopus

·        Elizabeth Craft Designs Seaweed Die

·        Cardstock craft

·        Dimensional Foam

·        Double sided tape

·        Glue

   What to do:

·        Adhere precut pattern paper panels to the easel card

·        Adhere “Ocean Blue” card from 8X8 pad to the large panel as pictures

·        Glue eyes to Octopus.

·        Adhere octopus with dimensional foam

·        Add anchor, ships wheel and seaweed to the step as pictured

    

      Card #3 – Shells and Hermit Carb

What you need

·        From the Stickers: “My Birthstone is a seashell”

·        A2 Card

·        Pattern Paper front panel 5 1/4 x 4 inches

·        Elizabeth Craft Seashells die

·        Cardstock: dark

·        Dimensional Foam

·        Glue

·        Double sided tape

·        Optional Oxide Ink: Gathered Twigs   

       What to do:
       Adhere background panel to the card

·        Attach “My Birthstone is a seashell” sticker with dimensional foam to upper right of card
        Optional ink shells with Oxide ink Gathered Twigs
        Adhere crab to card
        Adhere shells with dimensional foam, a little above the bottom of the card… (use waves to measure where to place.)
        Place waves at the bottom of the card

Card #4 – Shaker card

What you need

·        From the Sticker sheet: “SEA my Happy Place….”

·        A2 Card

·        Pattern paper background - 5 ¼ - 4

·        Dimensional Foam

·        Double sided tape

·        Glue

·        Sequins

What to do:

Adhere background panel to card with microfine glitter.

·        Assemble shaker – use the scalloped frame from the ephemera pack

o   Make sure the transparency is smaller than the frame

o   Attach transparency to the back of the frame

o   Be sure that pattern paper background is smaller than the frame.

o   Attach dimensional foam tape around the back of the transparency, make sure the corners meet

o   Fill the center with your sequins and beads.

o   Place the background image on to the dimensional foam, image you want to see towards the transparency

o   Attach the shaker to the card as pictured

·        Attach stamp images to the side of the card as pictured with dimensional foam

·        Add sticker “SEA my Happy Place….” Under the shaker as pictured

 Card #5 – Lighthouse

What you need

·        From the Sticker sheet: “Make a wish on a Starfish”

·        A2 Card

·        Pattern paper background - 5 ¼ x 4

·        Elizabeth craft Designs – Lighthouse Die

·        Cardstock

·        Dimensional Foam, Glue and Double-sided tape

·        Ribbon

·        Optional Oxide ink Hickory Smoke -and Gathered Twig

·         

What to do:

·        Adhere background Panel to the card

·        Assemble lighthouse

o   Start with the red base

o   Cut yellow square of cardstock for the windows at the top of the light. Adhere to the back of light house

o   Cut blue square of cardstock for the door and lower windows of the gray pieces of the lighthouse. Adhere to the back of the gray pieces.  (optional ink gray pieces with Hickory Smoke)

o   Attach gray pieces to the red lighthouse

o   Add the blue top, banister and base to the lighthouse.

o   Attach the lighthouse to the small sandy piece of card stock.  (optional – ink sand piece Gathered Twig)

o    

·        Place sticker on card with foam tape on upper right

·        For placement of lighthouse on the card use the wavy water.

·        Attach water and lighthouse to card

·        Add the sea star

          

Card #6 Turtle

What you need

A2 Card

·        Pattern paper background - 5 ¼ x 4

·        Elizabeth craft Designs – Turtle

·        Elizabeth craft Designs – Seaweed

·        Cardstock

·        Dimensional Foam, Glue and Double-sided tape

·        Glue, double sided tape, dimensional foam

What to do
Adhere background panel to the card

·        Assemble Turtle

o   Adhere solid oval to the back of the dark green oval with cutouts (turtle shell)

o   Add head

o   Add large flippers near the head

o   Add smaller flippers near the back, then add the tail

·        Add seaweed to the left side of the card

·        Add sandy bottom and anchor

·        In upper right place a stamp image

·        Attach Turtle with foam tape.

·        Add bubbles and Clear bubbles as pictured
