It is time to think about visiting amusement parks!!!
Coney Island NY amusement parks were in existence since the early 1800's. Between 1880 and WWII it was the largest amusement park in the United States. The first roller coaster was built there in 1884. Over the years it's popularity has declined and was closed. In 2010 the new Luna Park Coney Island opened.
This postcard was mailed in 1906!

This is a wonderful postcard! When I was a little girl we used to go to Coney Island in Portland. We would have Coney dogs and ride the roller coaster. It is long gone--but I still remember the magic of that place. :D
