CORNUCOPIA EASEL CARD

"Fall reminds me of harvest. I love the abundance of winter squashes and pumpkins. To showcase the beautiful fussy cut harvest vegetables, I have created an easel cornucopia card. All solid pieces are die cut from the Autumn Passions collection, except for the brown layer behind the cornucopia. The die cut squash, corn pumpkin and grapes had wax applied to show dimension. Autum is Magic!".

ALTERED PAINT BRUSH

Altered Paint Brush Swap with VLVS!

At Viva Las VegaStamps! we have a swap periodically... I have really enjoyed them the first one we did was altered mouse traps.  This one is paint brushes... I really had a great time with this one.  Only two rules... follow the theme "Nature" and you must use one VLVS! stamp!

The fun part of this project was melting the bristles with the heat gun.  They curled up nicely to give the brush a nice bushy look!  

The handle was painted with Alcohol Inks.. it almost looks like beautiful wood! The VLVS! used were the VLVS! Birds Nest and VLVS! Large Bird Flying Left. Both were stamped with black ink, heat embossed with VLVS! Ultra High Gloss Embossing Powder, colored with Tim Holtz Distress Markers and coated with a thin layer of 3D Sakura Crystal Lacquer.  

Add blue eggs (Dew Drops), paper flowers and feathers for the fishing tackle shop!!!

 Top the brushes off with beautiful silk ribbons!
