Experimenting with my Gel Press Plate...

Experimenting with the Gel Press and acrylic paints! Love the wonderful backgrounds they created.

Just two colors of acrylic paints and here are the results I got.

On a couple of them I placed circles punched and placed on the plate after painting.  The paint lifted, then I ran the brayer again and got a really cool effect.

This sheet has a bit of punchinella used for texture!  The prints were left to dry!

Using the Circle Background Stamp with black ink on an acrylic block.  Black embossing powder was used on the ink.

After heating the embossing powder, punchinella and black ink was used to add another layer to the opposite side of the sheet.

Adhere a black Bazzill Edge just off center of the card with glue.  Use ONE of a KIND Jolee's Stickers to embellish the card.... this would make a cute birthday card!

Using the Diamond Background Stamp with black ink on an acrylic block.  Black embossing powder was used on the ink.

Adhere a black Bazzill Edge just off center of the card with double-sided tape. Use a mica tile to stamp the Muse Eiffel Tower and heat emboss with black embossing powder. Then stamp Paris.  Adhere mica tile to the card with double-sided tape.  Add flowers!!!

Finally, add one of the circles used to lift paint from the Gel plate when painting to create the moon in the background!

Hope this inspires you to use your GEL PRESS!!!

Altered Pages - Jolee's & Paris!

I have an ATC made with one of the Jolee's dimensional  sticker packs.... from Altered Pages!!

I was happy when PARIS came my way!

Gather your Supplies, I used the following:
ATC ECHO Art Board
Mist
"Paris" from the Muse Paris stamp set
Petaloo Flowers
Jolee's Dimensional Stickers
Shimmer Spritz Frost
Dew Drops Plumeria
Tacky Glue
Black ink

First, I covered the  ATC ECHO Art Board with water then heavily sprintz it with my Mist, let it dry.  If you have a heat tool you can use it to speed drying, if you do don't hold it too close to the project (it may burn it).  Once dry, with black ink stamp "Paris" from the Muse Paris stamp set.

Add the Eiffel Tower from the Jolee's Dimensional Stickers pack.  Adhere Petaloo Flowers with Tacky Glue.  Spritz the flowers and card with Shimmer Spritz Frost, for a beautiful finish on the card.

Randomly add Dew Drops Plumeria around the Petaloo Flowers.

TRICK: I use plastic lids to pour out my Dew Drops, this keeps them in one place and easier to pick up, as I can pour them into my hand instead or trying to pick them up one at a time!

Hope you enjoyed to day....
