Play Date Cafe... Orange Teal & Lime Green

Here is my take on the colors for this past week... I love the combination.  The color challenges make me think outside the box... most of the time I am dabbling with vintage images.  Play Date Cafe brings me out of my comfort zone!

PLAY DATE CAFE!!!! PDCC09

What beautiful colors at Play Date Cafe!!!  This week I used some of my Victorian Scraps.  All the papers are from my scraps.  Merry Christmas is an Alias Smith & Jones stamp.  Sorry the photo is dark... I have a hard time getting a good picture without getting glare on the Victorian Scrap.

PLAY DATE CAFE!!!! PDCC08

This week's design host is Alison at Play Date Cafe

We got to play with one of her own digi-stamp line from Stretch N' Bubbles.  Be sure to check out Allison's free digi stamps each week.

"YOU RUFFLE MY FEATHERS"

I had fun with this card... I used Rubber Soul: card stock, background paper and sentiment.  Felt is Queen & CO, the Rhinestones Kaiser Scrapbook and Stickles.  Ribbons, feather and flower from my stash.

PLAY DATE CAFE CHALLENGE PDCC07!

I want to get back into doing a few challenges a week... I miss them so much.  Challenges seem to keep the creativity flowing in me.  I also miss seeing what other are doing and hopping around to the other challenges posted.  So here I am posting my first of two challenges I did last night

Play Date Cafe's Challenge PDCC07 was to use Red, Green and White.

My layered papers are Graphics 45 (I love their papers), Creative Imaginations, a scrap of red  I punched scallops, tore a strip from an old music sheet and repeatedly stamped Happy Holidays (Rubber Soul).  The image is from vintage scraps; with Stickles on fur trim of Santa's hat and coat and mounted with pop dots.  Final touch is the ribbon.  See other submissions HERE

While I was blog hopping and commenting on all of the challenges posted to Play Date Cafe I happened upon this CANDY.... YUMMY.... go here by 12/6 to check it out.!!!
