DAY 19 - Undertaker

The UNDERTAKER is a Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz collection.  The skull image was stamped with VersaFine black Ink, then embossed with clear embossing powder.

Background is created with Cosmic Shimmer Powders: Pumpkin Splash and Dark Night.

 The skull image was masked and then the "Deaths" were stamped.

Tulle was tied on the left side and Black Pearls from Queen & Company are on the right!

31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN - Day 4

31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN 2016 CHALLENGE

I will be posting a Halloween project each day during the month of October. Halloween is one of my favorites holidays... join me daily and comment on my blog each day. I will have a weekly drawing from all of my comments.... each day you comment your name is put in the draw!  Tuesdays I will share what the giveaway will be for that week. Fridays at Midnight I will draw a name and include the winner in my Saturday post! I am really excited to be a part of the 31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN and this amazing group of artists!

Now for my next card... SKULL UNDER GLASS

 

 

 

The border on the bottom of the card is made with DEW DROPS,

 locking washers from the hardware store and glass glitter from Altered Pages.  Adhered with Tacky Glue then covered with Crystal Lacquer.

 

The Skull Under Glass is a Chipboard Accent from  Echo Park and flower is Prima.

 

 

Happy Halloween is rubber stamp Stampendous: black ink and heat embossed with embossing powder.  

 

Been digging in my stash and loving it!!!!

Smudgefest 2015 DAY 1!

This week I am playing along with SMEARED AND SMUDGED!!!! 

Today is the beginning of the week long extravaganza called Smudgefest at Smeared and Smudged. Every day a new prompt will be announced, and players have 24 hours to create and upload a project based on that day’s theme. All the details can be found on the More Smeared Ink blog.

 Today is ‘Metal Monday’ – use some metal in your project.

Altered Pages Monday ~ Playing in my Journal

Having fun in my journal almost forgot this needed to get posted!!!!  It is so much jun adding layer after layer... it is hard to stop!!!

Supplies:
Faber Castell Gellatos
(Chocolate, Silver and Grape)
Faber Castell Artist Pen Big Brush Black
Wink of Stella - Gold Yellow
Andy Skinner Skullduggery Stencil
TCW Gears Stencil
Mist Coppery
Ink pad Black
Cosmetic sponge

First scribble the Faber Castell Gellatos (Chocolate, Silver and Grape) on the journal page.  With a paint brush and water blend them on the page. Let dry, if you are in a hurry you can use a heat gun to dry it.

Position the Andy Skinner Skullduggery Stencil and trace the stencil with the Faber Castell Artist Pen Big Brush.

 Then position the TCW Gears Stencil and spritz with Mist - Coppery, be careful not to over spray or it will bleed beneath the stencil. Let dry, again if you are in a hurry you can use a heat gun to dry it. Clean the TCW Gears Stencil. With a black ink and cosmetic sponge use the stencil to give the gears more definition.  

Finally add a little Wink of Stella - Gold Yellow to give the skull a little more depth.  

I am really happy with how this turned out!!!
