Happy St Patrick's Day!

Saint Patrick's Day, or the Feast of Saint Patrick
Is celebrated on March 17th

Pictured here St. Patrick is driving snakes from Ireland. (Ireland never had any snakes.)

"HAIL! Glorious St. Patrick! Dear Saint of our Isle."

The first TUCK'S Post Cards (or should I say souvenir cards) were printed in 1894.  The Raphael Tuck & Sons' was one of the first companies to print postcards.  Raphael Tuck had seven children, three of his four sons, Adolf, Reginald and Desmond, all worked in the family business. TUCK's was in business until Desmond retired in 1959, soon after the company combined with two others.  To learn more about TUCK's go HERE!

On the back...
Printed by Raphael Tuck & Sons' "St. Patrick's Day" Post Cards, Series NO 184
ART PUBLISHERS TO THEIR MAJESTIES THE KING AND QUEEN.

Fascinators for St. Patrick's Day

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!!

Card made with an image from Altered Pages!

You will find these festive fastinators for sale at

408 Pacific Ave Bremerton, WA
Saturday March 16th
Just in time for St. Patrick's Day!
Had made with Creative Paperclay® it is hard to believe these were once a clump of clay.  Cut into three pieces and air dried and sanded to smooth the surface. Then the top and brim are attached with slip.  Air dried again before painting.

The fascinators were painted with Sakura 3D Crystal Lacquer & Terri Sproul Mixers. Then embellished with hat band, feathers and beads.

Here is one of the Fascinators next to a 4 1/2 x 5 1/4 card. They aren't very big, each is attached to a head band.

Enjoy a safe HAPPY ST PATRICK'S DAY!
