Christmas with a bit of STEAMPUNK!
Today I have a card with a little steampunk! Did you know that Altered Pages has their own stamps original stamps? The Gentleman Steampunk is just one of them. Check the rest of the originals HERE!
Cut the base panel from a sheet of paper from the GLITZ Hello December 6x6 paper pad, wrap the left side of the panel with Steampunk Washi Tape. Color the die cut gears with brown ink and add a bit of sparkle to them with the Wink of Stella - Silver. Add the Kraft Paper Clock Face and to the large gear. Adhere the gears to the card using glue and foam tape to add dimension.
Stamp the Altered Pages Gentleman Steampunk Hat with black ink, heat emboss with clear embossing powder and color with Tim Holtz Distress Markers and a bit of bling with the Wink of Stella - Silver. Use foam tape to adhere hat add the holly for a Christmas touch! Attach the panel to the card base!

Monday Altered Pages ~ Christmas Tree!
This month the Altered Pages Challenge Theme is COLORS OF THE SEASON. My inspiration project is the Christmas Tree Book Kit from Altered Pages. You can participate in the Challenge... got HERE to learn more!
To start I primed the chipboard with Gesso, then painted each of the sections different colors; maroon, gold and green, added paper from the Glitz HELLO DECEMBER 6x6 pad and added a bit of sparkle with Stickles!

In Honor of Moms!
This is my second Mother's Day without my Mother. I would like to dedicate this post to all the Mom's out there.
Altered Pages has many images that would make beautiful cards and gifts for moms!
Mothers love anything that is made from the heart. I know first hand. When I was in the second grade I made a mug from clay. It was glazed and fired and I was really proud to give my special gift to mom. It was crudely made and way too small to use for drinking. For years she kept little things in it on a book shelf. When I was about 18 I told her she could toss that ugly little mug. Her reply, "Oh no, this is a precious gift from my beautiful daughter."

Altered Pages - Paris Tag
Paris is a favorite theme of mine! Todays post is a tag with a few images from a couple of ALTERED PAGES Collage sheets!
Spritz tag with mist, heat dry. Cut piece of Glitz paper slightly shorter than the tag and distress edges with chocolate brown ink, adhere to tag. Cut images from collage sheets and mount on light weight chip board (like cereal box), fussy cut and adhere to tag. Layer 2 flowers with a bit of netting in between. Use button as the center, adhere to tag. Add Glitz lace trim and pearls. Finish with netting bow.
