Hobby Baby! Pumpkin!

Wouldn't it be the cutest with a picture of the family at the pumpkin patch this year.

Today I layer some of the Graphic 45 Halloween papers with the Pumpkin frame.  I took the image and cut an oval so it would fit in the frame.  Then I cut the full image of the girl and layered with foam tape. Then cut another image of her from the hands up (coating the last image with Glasstique) and adhered with foam tap. Inside and outside the frame you will see Piccolo Card Decor swirls and leaves. They were embossed with Mossy Glen Enamel Powder. The images on the outside of the frame are fussy cut from Graphic 45's Halloween line also. A thin layer of  Glasstique was applied to stiffen them.

These make great gift for grandparents with Halloween pictures.

Steampunk Airship!

This month I had a great time creating the
Steampunk Airship Kit!

To make this I used the Steampunk Airship Kit, Piccolo Accents: from Floral Whimsy the swirls were used on the top and Vintage Gears Embellishments Set for the additional gears inside the the turn key in the front. Piccolo Enamel Powders and Piccolo Enamel Powder Adhesive and Glastique Gloss Finishing Gaze to glue the airship together.
Below is a picture of the kit... you may notice I have a lot more gears in my finished airship.

Pictured here is what is include in the kit!

All pieces were covered with Piccolo Enamel Powders and Piccolo Enamel Powder Adhesive.  Colors used were: Vintage Gold, Vintage Silver, Copper Kettle, Mermaid Tears and Glided Rose Gold.

Before adding the bubble these pictures were taken.
Here you can see the dimension of the gears.

To lift the gears I took the centers of some of the gears  in the Vintage Gears Embellishments Set and glued two to three together to lift a gear up.  Making sure the placement would not be hindered when the bubble frame was added.

Here is a look at the other side...

If you notice the exhaust on the back, the are left over pieces from some swirls I punched out for another project. I keep all the pieces... You never know when you may be able to use them on a project!!!

If you love Steampunk...
this is a must have kit for you.

Bubble Frames Tell A Story

When I saw the Story Tellers Fancy Rectangle Globe Frame from Hobby Baby I thought of my favorite story the Wizard of OZ and all the wonderful paper Graphic 45 has made.

First, I cut my images from Graphic 45 papers and used Crystal Lacquer on them.
I covered the Base and two middle frames with Graphic 45 papers. The top most frame I covered with Piccolo Vintage Silver Enamel Poweder using the Piccolo Enamel Powder adhesive.
The flower and leaf vine Piccolo Card Decor were also covered with Piccolo Enamel Powders.
In these pictures you see everything assembled before the bubble is added.  Images were adhered with glue dots and foam tape to give dimension.

Here you can see the Piccolo Enamel Powders on the outermost frame. It was also used to edge the second frame, Vintage Silver layered with Mossy Green.
A close up of the Piccolo Card Decor flowers.
Before adding the bubble i-roc gems were adhered to the center of the flowers.
Finally the bubble is added.
