Not too late to start making your Chirstmas cards!

Have you been following along the Altered Page Blog... the Altered Pages Design Team is having a great time using Craft Attitude™ in all their projects this month!!!!

It is time to start thinking of making handmade Christmas cards for those special people on your card list.  When creating your cards be sure to check out all the seasonal items at AlteredPages.com

Today I am sharing a card made with this cute Reindeer Stamp called "Special Delivery".  Stamp the image on white card stock with black ink and heat emboss with clear embossing powder. Color image with Copics.  Tear the image from card stock, making it a little larger then an ATC.  Distress edges with brown ink.

Layer Green Two Scoops Cardstock and Hello December Pattern Paper on card base with Double Sided Tape. Adhere image to the card.  Print the  Altered Pages ATC Decorative Borders Collages Sheet on Craft Attitude™ printable film.  Cut out the frame you choose to use.  With the printed side down adhere over the stamped image on the card.

Add the Mini Edge Red border on the bottom and the Merry Christmas Banner from Glitz Hello December What Nots.  With VeraMark ink the Chip Board Snowflakes and heat emboss with white embossing powder, attach clear Dew Drops to the center with Tacky Glue.

Femmes Board Book Cover

Glue books are a lot of fun to create!
is be a perfect book to make one!
I am creating a book that is some where between a glue book and a lot of mini collages.

The Arched Door Blank Board Book is the base for my "Fashionable Femmes" book.  During May I will be sharing it as I create pages in it!

First, ink the edges of the book with Tsukineko StazOn Midi Spiced Chai.  Cut the pattern paper to fit the front of the book and ink edges. Adhere pattern paper to the book.

Using the inkjet, print the Altered Pages Collage Sheets ATC Decorative Boarders and Architecture on Craft Attitude™ printable film. Layer one of the  ATC Decorative Boarders over the image of woman from  Color Pink ATC's sing glue stick on the printed side of the Craft Attitude™ film. Cut the column for the Archticture collage sheet.  Attach images to book cover.

Add flowers. "Fashionable Femmes" is stamped directly on the book, Airmail is stamed with Tsukineko StazOn Midi Spiced Chai on cardstock stamps.

To finish the cover spritz with Imagine Crafts irRESISTible Bronze, you will love this product. It adds a bit of texture to the surface.  If you look closely you can see the texture on the cover of the book.

Altered Bag with Attitude!!!

What do you do when you need something at the last minute?
Usually run to the store!
For me to run to the store takes at least an hour...
an hour I didn't have to spare today!

Today I needed a gift bag and didn't have one big enough for my gift,
with no time to run to the store!!!
What does a crafty person do....
GET BUSY and make a gift bag!!

Supplies:
Recycle a brown paper bag with handles
Altered Pages Collage Sheet Little Spring Birdies
Craft Attitude™ printable film
12 x 12 card stock cut to size (POW Glitter paper)
Spray adhesive
Double Sided Tape
Lace
Ribbon
Glue

I had a few Altered Pages collage sheets that I had printed with my injet printer on Craft Attitude™ printable film.  The person this bag is for loves birds, I had a full sheet of Altered Pages Collage Sheet Little Spring Birdies waiting to be used. If I had not had the images previously printed on Craft Attitude™ I would have had to waited a few minutes before fussy cutting.
To make the bag, fussy cut each of the Craft Attitude printable film birds.  When cutting they became separated from the backing.  I held the film images with the backing as I cut to give the film more substance during  cutting.
Cut the 12 x 12 card stock to fit the bag.  The brown paper bag the front and back are covered with cardstock.  Adhere cardstock with Double Sided Tape.  For this project spray the SPRAY ADHESIVE directly onto the film images, use a spray box.  (Spray on the printed side of the film.)  Attach to the bag, rub until the image is firmly attached.
Glue some lace around the top of the bag for a finished look, add a bow.
You are now ready to fill your bag!

THIS IS CRAFTING WITH AN ATTITUDE!
A gift bag in less than 30 minutes... that includes gathering supplies!
I have to confess I am a hoarder,
if I need to make something in a flash
I most likely have all the supplies available in my studio!
