So excited to share my Banner Book pictures on the lower half of page 94, made primarily with products from AlteredPages.com!

This cover does not appear in Just Steampunk! The Banner Book  cover is is dirigible designed after a kit from Globe Craft that I made a couple of years ago: the oval frame with black paper background, steam engine parts and ship basket cut from craft paper. Leakey Shed Gears and Sprockets. Parts painted with gold and distressed with black ink.  Background paper Graphic 45 from the All Things French MuseBox Kit, trimmed with Steampunk Washi Tape, Brown German Foil and fibers! Edges distressed with brown ink!

Background Text Paper, Glitz Paper Pretty in Pink, Large Glitz Rhinestone, Steampunk Female Stamp stamped on paper and on Mica, Leaky Shed Gear. Trimmed with lace and charm.

On the last 3 pages the background is Glitz Paper Pretty in Pink and Graphic 45 from the All Things French MuseBox Kit, with Leaky Shed Gears, Sprockets and Steampunk Washi Tape. Finished with Kraft Clock, buttons, washers from the hardware store, pen nib and keys!

Steampunk Necklaces! In Just Steampunk Vol. 3

I had four Steampunk Pendants published in "Just Steampunk Vol. 3" I love dabbling in jewelry.  Sometimes I alter what is found and other times I create something entirely new.

Not long ago at Echo ArtWorks in Bremerton WA I found these amazing charms: a telescope, divers helmet, magnifying glass and compass. I knew they would make great Steampunk pendants.

Pictured above on page 17 of "Just Steamupunk Vol. 3"

Telescope on swivel, with gears and butterfly.
Divers Helmet on swivel with gears, fish and sea star.
Magnifying glass on swivel with gear and old clock key.
Compass on swivel with gears.

My Punk-olator in "Just Steampunk Vol. 3"!

I  received my copy of "Just Steampunk Vol. 3" this weekend.  I was so excited to see all the projects that I submitted made it in the magazine.  Besides the Punk-olator pictured below; there were rings, necklaces and button fairies!

I was really happy with the page (71) they dedicated to my Punk-olator!   The base is an old party size percolator that was destined for the garbage dump!!!
It took hours to layer all the gears, locking washers, charms, Dew Drops,  keys, pen nibs, horse nails and found items. Everything was attached with E6000.
The bird was very blue before I painted him copper. He has been altered with paint, a few gears, watch parts and Robin's Nest Dew Drops add a touch of color.

Watch for posts this week with my other projects published!
