One last Halloween Poe Tag!

Had to sneak one more project in this month... I JUST LOVE POE!

I love all the different stencils I have worked with this month, they are so versatile and can be used with many different products! Hope you have enjoyed this month as much as I have.  

 

 

 

Poe's ghost in the graveyard!

With Water Brush paint Gelatos on Large Tag.

 

Supplies:
Large Tag
The Crafters Workshop Stencil - Mini Specimens
The Crafters Workshop Stencil - Aspen Trees
Altered Pages POE Collage images
Altered Pages Nevermore Collage images
Transparency
Gelatos
Water Brush
Metallic Luster Rub
Smooch Spritz
Rest in Peace Die Cut
Cat Die Cut
Double sided tape
Glue stick

Apply Metallic Luster Rub with The Crafters Workshop Stencil - Mini Specimens on the upper corner of tag with.

Add the The Crafters Workshop Stencil - Aspen Trees to the tag.

With Gelatos add a bit of dimension to the base of the tag.

Spritz the tag with Smooch Spritz.

And the spritz the base of the tag.

Cut three tombstones with Rest in Peace Die Cut from white cardstock.  Use Metallic Luster Rub to distress them   

 

 

Print Altered Pages POE Collage images and  Altered Pages Nevermore Collage images on transparency.

 

 

Adhere tombstones and scary cat to card with Double sided tape and Gluestick.

 

Adhere Poe and Raven with Double sided tape.

Witches in the Spooky Woods!

This month over at Altered Pages we have partnered with The Crafters Workshop using their stencils to create our projects!  Since it is October I have been focused on Halloween and my creativity seems to be there no matter what you hand me!   

Today I share: What a witchy night in the woods among the spooky trees!!!!

Supplies:
The Crafters Workshop - Tree Branches stencil
Altered Pages Collage Sheet- Witching Hour
Altered Pages Collage #1820 Quoth the Raven Nevermore (printed on transparency)
Large Tag
Gelatos - Red, Yellow and Purple
Water brush
Blending tool
Black ink
Shimmer Mist
Spray Mist - red
Large Rhinestone
Glue stick
Ribbon

With Water brush spread Gelatos - Red, Yellow and Purple on wet Large Tag.  Set aside to dry.

With The Crafters Workshop - Tree Branches stencil randomly apply Black ink on the Large Tag with a Blending tool.  

Add a bit of Spray Mist - red and Shimmer Mist.

Rub around the edges of tag with Black ink.

Cut All Hallows Eve from Altered Pages Collage Sheet - Witching Hour use Black ink to distress.  Add Large Rhinestone.

Cut Raven from Altered Pages Collage  Sheet - Quoth the Raven Nevermore (printed on transparency), attach with staples.

Fussy cut witches from Altered Pages Collage Sheet - Witching Hour, adhere to the tag with Glue stick.

Last add Ribbon.  The tag is complete! 

 

RIP Poe!

I love working with images of POE.  Today I have used The Crafter's Workshop stencil with an Altered Pages Collage image of POE.  

Supplies:

The Crafter's Workshop stencil

Large Tag

Paint - Red and Black

Brayer

Altered Pages Collage - Poe

Altered Pages Collage - Ravens (copied on transparency)

Spray Mist

Smooch

Black ink

Glue stick

Ribbon

With Brayer spread Red Paint on Large Tag.  Set aside to dry.

 

With The Crafter's Workshop stencil randomly apply black paint lightly around the edges of the Large Tag.  

 

Rip Altered Pages Collage image of Poe from collage sheet, use Black ink around edges. Print POE on computer rip around edges and ink.

Add a bit of Spray Mist - red and Smooch - brown.  Rub around the edges of tag with Black ink.

Add the image of Poe & word POE with Glue stick.

 

Staple the transparency of Raven to the tag! 

  

 

 

Cute Halloween!!!

Some cute Halloween fun with The Crafter's Workshop stencils.   Today I have large tag to share!

 

 

 

 

Supplies:

The Crafters Workshop stencils Kitchen Tile and RavenScape

Large Julie Nutting Tag

Metallic Luster Wax Rub

Little Birdie Flowers

Corrugated Cardboard

Large Rhinestone

Altered Pages Collage image

Inks Yellow & Red and Brown

Black Cardstock

Cat border edge

Burlap

Ribbon

Stapler

Tacky Glue

Glue Stick

Corrugated Cardboard

3D Mounting Squares

 

Start by inking the tag with Yellow Ink, then with The Crafter's Workshop Kitchen Tile  stencil apply Red Ink.  Using just the spots on The Crafter's Workshop RavenScape stencil add Metallic Luster Wax Rub randomly on the tag.

 

Paint white Little Birdie Flowers with Yellow & Brown Inks, set aside to dry.

 

Adhere Corrugated Cardboard with Tacky Glue. 

 

Mount Altered Pages Collage image on black cardstock with Glue Stick.  Attach to tag with 3D Mounting Squares.  Attach flowers with Tacky Glue.

 

Attach about six inches of burlap folded in half with staples. At the bottom of the tag attach a border.  A bit a of Ribbon and a Large Rhinestone finish it off.
